Absolutely dopey! Why do the media even give these crackpots the column space?

My workmate got $25 for an identical looking (but orange) orange about 4 years ago.

We had a thread on dumb plates not so long ago. I never got around to adding one I saw recently which still has me laughing. A very, very large girl driving a mid-90's falcoon wagon with the plate WDLOAD ROFL.
-
Lets just say you wouldn't want to have a fat arse if you've got that plate. Otherwise go for it. Oh, and for someone who not so long ago was wondering how to make some easy money to pay for school, you sure know how to waste it.

Powerful thighs. I'm interested in this "Business" of Emily and Livis...
-
If it wasn't red and I hadn't sent $$$ on my own one then I'd buy it. I've been interested in this over the years, but needed the tune sorted and the price was a tad high for me. Now its down to the sort of money I'd be willing to spend, it's now had the tuning work done and I've now invested too much in mine. Bargain in other words. Would have been nice to keep it in the family though.

The smg ones are 6 speed. Regular manuals are usually 5 speed.
-
Haha yeah I know. You'll be disgusted to know I had them on my old e30, but glad to know I ripped them off on a speed hump as it was too low, realised my folly and didn't replace them. I thought they were cool. Does ANYONE rock neons these days????
-
Got them on now. DIY. Red glass stain x 2-3 coats. 2x coats clear coat.
-
And they've been doing stuff other than tyres for a long time too. Bought a set of under-car neons from them at an auto-salon 4 years ago. They seemed dodgy as f**k, but very cheap. Met me at their workshop at 11pm to pick up etc. Really weird, but good product, good price.

Clean it and silicone spray it regardless of black or chrome.

Government is already pressuring sky to do just that IIRC. I don't think a petition will force anything, but it certainly can't hurt.

Sweet - the trick with a 2-man team is no beers till the work is done. Or else you end up with lots of empties and no work done.

It started as a way to keep track of which vehicle needed servicing, when, (I have 3 cars right now and have had up to 6) and to make it easy to look back and see when I last replaced a failing part without having to search through receipts. I can see for instance how many kms I get from tyres, and that for some reason I go through fan belts (for instance). So it doesn't take much to add reg wof and insurance on the list. Its interesting to see how much part and oil prices have changed over the years, and is a useful resource when trying to remember how much something cost, or when it was last done. I don't bother keeping track of fuel. I have a fuel card for each vehicle so would be easy if I wanted to.

Older versions are fine. I am still using 7 and I've had a play with my sisters latest version, and apart from advanced features, user interface changes and extra tools/filters, etc its no better. I'm plenty happy with it, and you can probably pick a copy up very cheap (or free ) Basic features are easy, more advanced stuff takes time, patience and practice. Its like most software - once you really start using it you realise how many hundreds of functions there are. The only free thing close is The Gimp and I find that really hard to use, even with the Photoshop emulation you can skin it with these days. I suppose if you learnt on Gimp it might be different, but I hate the interface.

I swear they'll look good on, esp on a dark-coloured car. Can't find pics on an e34 though. Will keep looking

OMFG! how do you get anything done? You must be forever losing things and falling over stuff. Pedals are simple. Remove the hinge pin, swap the pedals over. Done.

What have you decided re: tune?
