Dude, im up to bout 6k for a m50 (e36 325)conversion but that includes a link etc, pretty easy to do but two grand easy for engine and gearbox. for the sort of money you are talking about do the m20 2.5 only real option imo

Someone must want this, gotta get it out of the shed,1983 1800 m10 Carb'd engine done about 160k, ran perfectly, new head gasket /skim and inspection, good engine for club car or with a bit of expertise can produce good bhp. $100 collected also got interior from coupe in average condition, dash mat,bottle caps for e30 and e36, rear subframe for e21 including diff of unknown ratio. gotta get rid of it all make us an offer. cheers

I've got superlow kings on a pre F/l and they made bugger all difference, but with standard KYBs they would not pass a warrant as the rears are not competely captive, this could depend on the state of your bumpstops however, sounds like I nees some jamex s/l's for the track car anyone wanna swap?? :thumb:

You Need them for a warrant as with super low springs on rear particularly, they are no longer captive and your springs could fall out (very unlikley) If Gus does'nt take them I will if they are indeed 45mm, also bemmaboi howd you go about dropping your car 120mm? adjustable coilovers?, super low kings barely moved my car, if i end up lucky enough to get these i will have a set of kybs standard length for sale almost brand new also, currently on with super lows on race car shell.and spring barely captive on rear when jacked up. cheers

GIdday mate, I have a set of Fronts from a coupe which i think are the same as sedans, mechanically they are sweet the drivers has a bit of wear in the fabric but not too bad the passenger side is mint, they are grey, yours for $50 but you gotta collect them, send me your email addy and i'll send you a pic if interested. cheers Jonty

I gotta set of bottle caps you can have for a hundy, one of them is slightly different than the others but un-noticable to the untrained eye - tyres are crap but you will have to collect them cost a fortune to send to Auck :thumb:

m50b25 192bhp factory, pretty much a plug and play swap in the e36, you will need a gearbox off a six though (i think) Fitment issues. I also am a purist when it comes to keeping things BMW so if it were me I would sell and buy a e36 325 or even 3.0l m3 which are getting pretty cheap now days, you will be lucky to find any M3 engine in NZ, but there is the m52 b28 which has about 195bhp?? but vanos SDeuropean have one right now I think. I am installing the m50b25 in a e30 at the mo and with custom extractors and link etc I am hoping for 230 BHP and then there are still cams etc maybe even super charger 300bhp would be pretty easy if not costly. theres a e30 running around here with a 12a rotor which is pretty dissapointing in my veiw if you want a jap car buy one I say.

Guys this may have been covered before when you all got yours, however I got mine this week (just rear sub frame and offset control arms) did you fit these yourself? if so how did you do the sub frame ones , anyone got the puller? also my control arm ones appear to be stamped incorrectly with left being right and vise versa did this occur on yours, the imprint for the control arm cannot possibly match up if i put them on the way they are stamped. Any help Appreciated going to attempt this tomorrow. Cheers

now I know a whole bunch of you bought in powerflex bushes from the UK, so who hasn't installed them and wants to sell the control arm and rear sub frame bushes if not any one know where I can get some in NZ off the shelf. I can get them made through the likes of TSV here but I need to take the arms and subframe out and take them in or have them do the install $$$$ :finger: which is a pain any help appreciated. :thumb:

I gotta tow bar off an early e30 bolts on to the spare wheel well with a plate under bumper bolted through into the boot, not sure if its the same but you can have it if you arrange collection. I also have an e30 interior condition depends on what you need let me know and I'll see if I can help. sweet

Give Kevin Mosen (BMWarehouse) a call he'll hook you up with the bits you need, don't have his number at hand at the mo but he's in the Hamilton ph bk, my guess is though after doing the m50 conversion on a e30 that you would be better off selling your car and buying a 318is or 325 be a whole lot cheaper and resaleable at the end of the day. :thumb:

Link $1100 plus for the m50 supply only should be the same for m20, I guess your $3.5k is for conversion etc but seems pretty high to me. my 2c :thumb:

gidday guys, no idea of freight to Chch prob $100?? I had one sent from BM Warehouse in Ham for $60 but not inter island obviously bmwsparkle I need the lot to go so you can have the whole engine minus the box for $200. Cheers

allrighty, I am after a complete rear sway bar for a 325i including linkage arms etc and also still looking for some front brake callipers. Any help would be appreciated and appropriately compensated of course. Cheers
