imo v4's are better than v5 but then again I have the v4, install is easy plug and play, i grabbed the aircon relocation frame to move the controls down to where the sunglass holder is. One thing to watch out for is once you have the unit in make sure you ground the actual unit to a solid earth or you can get noise interference.

its part of the rain sensor as far as I am aware, you would also have to get a new lcm and get it coded to your car, If you use a second hand one you will end up with the tamper dot on the cluster.

I would have thought 99 was just before fly by wire so should have a cable, Cable tension perhaps ?? Don't really know about this one. I would say fuel consumption would be about right for around town driving. Would not have an aux connection, headunit is to early. If it has elec folding mirrors there should be a little black button on the drivers side door you push in to fold them.

I would not have thought the owner would have any access to the report at all, If you are paying for it then its yours. Then it would be up to you to show what ever you wanted to the owner in the way of getting things fixed or having the price lowered. In saying that though you can just ring JG here with a rego number and they will tell you what if any work had been carried out on said car without giving out details of the owners name of course.

I would go with JG , $160 -$180 is a small price to pay which could save you getting a money pit from the get go.

Dropped car off this morning as windscreen has turned up from Germany, They just rang me though and said we have taken yours off but when we went to put your new windscreen on it was missing the moldings. They have had to order them and they will be in tomorrow. I said thats fine but how the hell am I supposed to get to work so they have just dropped me around a couple of taxi chits. I would have thought they would have checked they had everything before they started though.

The missus got me this belt and buckle for xmas but its to big for me. Fits 92cm to 107.5cm. Its one of those quick release belts you can change the buckles on in 2 secs. Thought I might as well put it up on here in case anybody is interested before it goes to trade me $45 and that includes postage.

Shortly (some time in the next six months) I want to put new feet on the car. Now i know absolutely nothing about tyres so any help would be grateful. It still has the same feet on it when I bought it which are dragon 225/45 zr 17 91w. I am looking at something middle of the road really as it is my daily driver but I have been know on odd occasions to push the pedal heavily when on a trip so something with a bit of grip to would be great.

If I were you I would not be driving or starting the car until you get it repaired, could cost you way more if you do more damage. Should be either 15 or 6 in the following diag.

Yup i purchased a grom usb unit and ran that until I put the dynavin unit in.
