If you are not in a hurry i just sent an email to bmw nz and about a week later they sent me the build sheet with all the options that had been installed. In fact they were very nice about it.

I have noticed latley that when braking i feel a slight pulsating in my brake pedal. The cars not pulling to the left or right or anything during braking and braking itself is fine. I am thinking that one of the rotors may be getting warped could this be correct. In the future (when i have the money) i would like to replace all the rotors and have seen these ones >>Click me<< , Anybody know if these would be any good ??. As i said this would be in the future and maybe a way off. At this point i am concerned with the pulsating i am getting from the pedal.

Yup i know i don't need to remove the lights for the eyebrow's i was just curious from some of the diy's i had read. Always handy to brush up on stuff you never know when you may need it. I don't know about mine being a Uk variant though as it was assm in Japan. But it does have alot of stuff that is not standard. It does have the passengers side airbag as well
-
I have been looking at adding eyebrows to my front lights and have found a place that does them. I have also been looking around at a few diy's about removing your lights to replace bulbs etc. (not that i need to). In all these diy's for the e36 they are saying the front lens is plastic but i am sure as hell mine are glass. Are the normal ones glass or plastic ??.

Now that i have seen them i want some. Does anybody here in nz sell them at all ??.
-
Yup you can upgrade to the 18 button version, I looked at doing it myself but decied it was way to involved for me. Look here for the detailed instructions >>Clicky me <<

Nice , Welcome aboard always nice to see another e36 cause they rule hehehehehe, 200ks is ok as along as you do your services when they are due. Mine is at 190ks and a recent compression test and service says everything is good as gold. Must admit i like the look of those eye lids might have to look at getting some for mine.

Never tried any of those ones up there to be honest. Just had a play and if i switch between standard and rich text the glitch goes away. Go figure anyway now i won't loose my cursor
-
Yup i came across this on how to get at them. >>Click here for info<< You will need to make-up a bit of a hook for pulling the slide back once you have replaced the rubbers. Once you look at the link you will know what i mean. Its very easy to do. The hardest part i found was trying to push the cover back into the door while tying to hook the slide at the same time. Helps to have somebody else there if possible to hold it in place for you. Took me about 30mins to do all 4 seals.

Is it just me or when trying to enter or reply to a message Firefox won't scroll the words up in this box. If you get to the bottom the cursor drops below the box and you have no idea what you are typing.

Well they turned up today so time for out with the old and in with the new. This is the set that arrived This is what my current ones look like A comparision of the old and the new And the new ones installed. Overall i am pretty happy with the set. Best way was to drop them into some hot water before putting the on as they are not as easy as one would think. $50 for a set of four as opposed to having to pay $50 for the rubber and the cover from the dealer you can't go wrong.
-
Yup mine did this a week ago and was first time i had seen it. I also thought oh great what now but after a quick read of the manual it said it will show up and beep at 3deg if temp is dropping. Also at that point the heaters in the windshield washer nozzles and the heaters in the mirrors come on. All i can say is nice
-
That's alot of money to be bidding but man i like the look of that car. >>Click me<<

I finally decided to go ahead and buy some rubber protection guards for behind my door handles. Total cost was $51 for all four but thats way cheaper than going through bmw which require you to buy the handle as well a piece. I got them from here >>Click Here<< about 10 days delivery and soon as i get them i will do a proper review and pics of the quality and replacment so if any body else is intrested they can decied if they would like to do the same.

Have actually found a guy selling them on ebay >>>>CLICK ME<<< He is selling a set of the rubbers for $28usd which is $40 nz, Not to bad for all 4. Its just the rubbers and not made by bmw but from the post i found the link from the guy who purchased them was more than happy with them. Maybe worth a look.
