  1. Cheers guys that puts my mind at ease, Gonna do the same have a place down here i am going to take it to for them to swap over so the job is done properly.
  2. I am just wondering if anybody has bought anything like this from ebay or not. >>Clicky<< I have an armrest setup on the way from Brent and i was originally going to get it reupholstered in leather because its currently cloth and needs doing anyway. Then i seen this on eBay and thought hmmmm. Cost all up including postage was $34 NZD so i thought its at least a go, if it turns out crap quality then i have not lost a whole heap but if it turns out to be fine then its not bad value i reckon.
  3. Yup Gavin has some M3 ones in stock so i have gotton him to send me those, Just got to wait for the outers to turn up and it will be all go. Looking forward to see how much difference it makes to the front end.
  4. I am going to go ahead and do the lot. I am just waiting to hear back from Gavin to see if he can get me the solid CAB's. I am not going to do it myself as i don't have the tools to. For me its eaiser to buy the parts then just put the car in and get them all put in. I did the rear rotors and pads a few months ago and just got a set of rotors and pads for the front that i am going to put in after i get the joints put in. Yup i intend keeping this car for quite awhile. I love the look and feel of it. I just got an armrest setup off of Brent and when that turns up i am going to get it recovered to suit the car.
  5. Nice, Will look at doing the CAB , Was just looking at tidying the handling up a bit, Its just a family car and will never be on the track or anything but we do take long drives and tidying this up would make me happy. Meyle joints are costing me around the $100 mark for the pair give or take 20-30 can't quite remember Gavin is going to give me the final cost when they arrive. How much did the CAB change over cost if you can remember.
  6. Gavin has got some Solid type meyle outer ball joints comming in for me and i am wondering if i have to replace the inner bushes on the control arm as well. Currently they seem fine there appears to be absolutly no slop or play in them. I just don't want to spend money where i don't need to. On the other hand is it a case of since i am doing the outer i might as well do the inner since the car has to go in to have the old ones pressed out, might make sense to get them to do the inner ones as well since its all apart.

    E36 door sills.

Although i am tempted and they do look nice i have no other Schnitzer gear on the car and i feel it would be a cop out putting them on there. I did see those on your site though they were the first things that came up when doing a search on google for bmw e36 chrome door sills.
  8. Guys I am on the look out for some front door sills for my baby. I am looking for chrome or stainless one's with perhaps BMW or 3 series or those wonderful 3 stripes would be perfect. I seen some on ebay but they are over in the uk and have 3 series written on them. The only ones i can find in nz are Schnitzer ones and since i have none of their gear on my car i don't want to go down that road.
  9. While driving to work last night i passed a suzuki dealership and noticed all these people standing around a car in yellow shirts. To cut a long story short they have to keep two hands on the car at all times and the last person left standing wins the car. I think they get bathroom breaks or something though. Not my cup of tea i would not have the patience to stand there doing that what about you ??
  10. Mine turned up in the post on Monday. At first i was wtf is this until i opened the package lol. Now i am a "V" junkie and drink around 6-7 4 packs a week, thats about $60 a week on the stuff. Its a bad addiction i know but meh i don't drink alcohol or anything. Anyway i thought it tasted like absolute sh*t and i drink so much "V' anyway that it didn't give me a boost.
  11. This just spotted, The new 2011 BMW in testing, Looks like a winner to me.

  14. I was the owner (Jason) sitting on the bonnet of his lonely e36 and next to me was Mike. Was a great turn out, Way more than i thought was going to show. Roll on the next meet and a nice warm sunny day
  15. I am guilty of doing that at the moment with my staff. To help get labour recovery down I am asking staff to take annual leave. It is written in their contract though that the employer is able to give them 28 days notice that they have to take annual leave. I try all possible ways for them to set their own annual leave but in them failing to do so I set their annual leave date's for them.

    Thanks.

I just wanted to take a couple of moments to say thanks to everybody on here who helps out. Thanks Glenn for always replying to what may seem like stupid questions, You are the Man and knows what he is talking about. To Gavin over at Euro-Italian Car Parts Ltd who with in the space of 10 mins of sending an email to him is hooking me up with some kick arse solid ball joints. One can't forget Ray either who sorted me out a spare door handle when my broke. (Do your staff know their left from their right now Ray lol). Thanks as well to everybody else who helps out with advice and comments. Its a great community to be a part of and i have learnt so much over the past almost year and am looking forward to learning more.

No it wasn't a car lol, But i reckon i got this at a pretty good price. Have seen them go for a lot more than what i paid for this even if it is second hand. Could not afford a new one >>Clicky<<
  20. Just been watching the Telethon on T.V and although its a great cause and its good to see a telethon back i can't help but remember the old days of yaw. So done some searching and found this. I was 11 at the time and has bought back some great memory's of trying to stay awake (never did), You can't beat that original song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcfI6sZj6sA&NR

  22. Does anybody supply them here, Had a bit of a look around on ebay etc but could not find anything in aus or here just the states.
  23. Glenn i am just wondering what you think a price would be on replacing the outer balljoints (both sides). I have been quoted arounf $350 - $400 to have both done, This includes parts and labour. Just wanting to make sure i am not being ripped off.
