Well, petrol .....40L/100km is my highscore with 10.2L/100km being my best to date. Sits on about 18L/100km with town driving. I'm yet to pay for anyone to work on it yet but parts are cheap if you know people in the states with wrecks, going to be making a big order of random parts and Bili's soon, if anyone else with an 8 is looking for parts give me pm and I'll see if I can get it. Also, don't bother buying new parts for 8's, I looked into getting a piece of outside trim for the roof (a long piece of flat metal about 1m long and 2cm wide) BMW NZ want $900,

In what way.... It has a smaller tank More cc but less power Uses more fuel Creates more drag Drives more like a boat than the bmw Is terrible to work on Lucus electrics Does not have aircon, ABS or Stability control Doesn't have back seats But most of all its English

there could be heaps of problems. has it got any fuel in it? Take the fuel hose off the rail and put it in a bottle, then turn the car over and see if anything comes out. Then take the spark plug leads off and put a spark plug in one and ground it in the valve cover, if you see a spark thats good. If the previous two work then get a compression gauge and check all the cylinders. If its not even turning over - Roll it down a hill and try start it. Fuel filters are prone to blocking. Also check that you are get 12V at the battery, then when turning the ignition see if this is affected.

Sooooo as a few of you know April and I recently bought a 850i, Have done a few minor things like get new wheels and front lip (also get rid of the fart cannons) and fix a few electrical problems with a few more odd jobs to go. Also pictured is my old mans V12 jag. It is inferior in every respect except it seems to rev a lot more down low. So here it is so far....
