Swap you for the 17" RS's ha, you cant see the paver's which were being used as jack stands. top tip, idling in 5th gear is the perfect speed doing this type of project.

Recently April impulse bought some rough 16x7.5 borbet type A's for me. Was keen to do a project this weekend so I spent an hour cleaning up one....... Here is a pic of the original condition before paint stripper After paint stripper Spinning it up on the rear and used a chisel against the edge to get rid of the curb rash and then I used sand paper to smooth the surface, this pic is midway at about 800 grit At 1500 grit Finished result, took about 1 hour to do one wheel Test fit with towels holding up the wheels, not too sure I want to rock these over the RS's but its nice to have something different

Yeah, blown headgasket on cylinder 3 between the cylinder and water jacket. It is almost ready to go back together, head and block are still straight to an edge but the head is getting pressure tested while its off. They are ready for hire @ $258.75 for a whole day in the weekend. Don't think i'll have a car for this trackday but if its wet I might take the M325i for a blat -
How many Hz is the GPS receiver? How much did the screen cost? Do Want.

There is a tag that is attached to the rear via one of the diff bolts, otherwise you can turn the driveshaft 360 degrees and see how many times the half shaft turns.

Managed to get well into the 1:14's again, pity it only lasted 2 laps at that pace then blew the headgasket (we suspect it, pulling it apart next week to find out), doubt it will be ready for the 12th Josh should have some video's and IIRC he was getting 1:19's -
its about time they had this episode, one the guys off E30zone sold their cab to top gear about a year ago for this ep. Hope I havent spoilt it already

There is one this Friday at Hampton or Puki. I'll be at the Hampton one, im sure a lot of the race series guys will be at puki. -
Jack the car up, take the slave cylinder (2x13mm bolts) off the gearbox then get a mate to push the pin in on it and push the pedal slowly, if they can't keep it in its ok. If they cant push the pin at all, theres ya problem. Also if it wont go into gear with the slave off..... its the gearbox/clutch, get a screwdriver and pry the knuckle (where the selector bar thing connects to from the gearstick) on the back of the gearbox as far bar as it goes, this should give you 3rd gear if the selector inside the box is ok, if you still dont have gears your going to need to remove the gearbox to check the clutch ect ect. said slave cylinder... -edited many times.

sounds like you got a blown headgasket but you could always try a tee-kay test.

Have them on the front of the 850, good value for money. Pretty good on the track, not because they have zero grip but because they didn't fall apart, far too often cheaper tyres fall to bits after 1 lap, managed to do 5 laps with no problems

With the S50B32 in the racecar I got 250rwhp @ 7800 rpm, no engine mods, just an aftermarket ECU with a 3 inch straight pipe exhaust and no maf edit - Also got 330 flywheel hp @ 7800 rpm on another dyno out west.
