Not keen on letting verts without a rollcage out on the track as I've seen a few cars roll at hampton now . At the end of the day I could run a "parade" session for these sorts at a pretty sedate speed.

as per the first post

Nathan it looks like you have the fat (normal) valves that can be bought for a few dollars, these are what my thin valves look like, they have a smaller hole. I found when getting new lips from germany that they come with the narrow valve holes that cant fit normal valves this can be corrected by getting a bigger hole drilled. My RS033's have narrow valves but my RS001's and RS003's have the same valves you got. Smaller valve With valve cap

"it revs OVER 9000"

I found a metal hammer the easiest way, but then I wasn't reusing the lips
-
yeah you can just unbolt them from the inside and then pull out. Make sure you don't loose the seals and keep them in good condition otherwise when you come to use them again they will leak, They also cost $40 new if you have the thin splined ones. I found this useful when doing mine http://the-polisher.tripod.com/id6.html

No cats in these pics, only my 16" RS003's

re getting balenced, hell yes.
-
seeing as some people are currently widening their rims, has anyone got some half decent 30 bolt lips left over? need them to be 1" or bigger and only need 2

bikes are a no, they have there own trackdays. At this statge its looking like price is going to be $135 as there isn't enough interest to get it down to $100 either way we have enough for 2 groups (fast and slow) so should have the makings for a great day. Will start asking for prepayments next month. If you dont prepay its $150 on the day.

Finally got the front painted and put the standard wheels back on. Looking forward to putting on the new wheels this weekend. ( 16" RS's )

So its all go for the trackday at Hampton Downs for the 28th August…. Prepayments are now no longer accepted so its $150 for the day if you missed out. (cash or eftpos) Rental Transponders are available at $30, Credit card imprint will be required in case you don’t return it at the end of the day as they cost $700 new. Driver sign in is at 8:30am in the big white pavilion in the centre of the track. Food will also be available at the same location via Austin’s who are opening up for the morning Requirements are a helmet and cotton overalls. Cars need a current WOF or Log book (or a quick look over by myself) I will run a fast and slow group as well as a newbie’s class if numbers/newbie’s permit. Look forward to seeing you all there.

dont know the car, looks pretty decent for the k's re pricing - its probably right on the money, market at the moment seems to be $4000-$6000 for replica tech2's or a tech 1 $6000-$8000 for ruff and standard tech2's $8000-$12000 for average ones with maybe a few go fast bits $12000+ for something special
