was a good day out, managed to get into the low 1:23's consistently which is alright for an 280k e30 with some good front brake pads and 10 yearold semi slick's. Only problem is I ripped both front engine bushes apart got a few mods lined up that should see me getting into the 1:21's next time

I kinda took it for a drive and spun out at the same place he did earlyer in the day, the only difference is that I went the oppisite way and brushed the against the wall edit - it wasn't carnage tho, only the front and rear 1/4 panels got the pushed in with 2 doors getting minor dings. everything else is ok.

Bought some decent pads for the e30, Mintex 1166 to be exact. Also managed to source another 4x100 RS to complete my project set I have also gone and bought 4 x 205/60/15 potenza semi slicks. Reason I chose the high profile was because they were really cheap otherwise I would have got some R888's. and today i got a wheel alignment, sitting at 2 degrees camber in the front and 3 degrees in the rear, 1.7mm toe in on the rear and 0.5mm toe in on the front. Bring on the track day then i'll send the front tech2 for paint.

Bought some Mintex 1166's, Cost $270 and also bought some decent brake fluid while I was at it. Bring on the track day

anyone have anything to say about mintex pads?, if im doing the odd track day will the 1166 be overkill or will the 1144 not be enough

I used a 2" metal pipe, worked a treat.
