Can i just lower the front suspension.

doesn't really matter if you only do the front. only thing that might be out are the headlights. -
time for an update, have put the EAT chip back in and now have no problems at all. Taking the e30 to 7000rpm is a bit too much, I notice it starts to run outta poke at about 6200. Also painted the valve cover with high temp low gloss paint, its at least tripled the power to the wheels. and after taking this pic of the engine bay I added a radiator shroud to hopefully eliminate the running hot which I experienced last track day. Might hit the track tomorrow if its not too wet.

tappets with 0mm clearance? have you taken the valve cover off to check everything?

put the rear wheels on and its already showing this car has got a lot of potential but still needs a drop in the front to get the ride height correct. Will also have to replace front and rear shocks and they are shot and I found there is no rubber on the front sway bar links, that explains allot about the handling. Next thing is to order new lips for the other 2 RS's to match the front and maybe find a Mtech2 kit Also found a bmw booklet in the glovebox that has a FSH up to 1995 ....then it tails off has a map of the UK and Europe and a whole lot of other booklets about the car.

the left rear doesn't work 100% I'm pretty sure its jammed as it makes the noise as if it fully up and cant go any further. I'm sure it would move with some convincing, But I don't think I could convince April we need another e30

I went and had a look at it, was going to get it but.......... it felt bland to drive, really boring and didn't make me go WOW i'm driving a m3 or even put a smile on my face My e30 has more pull/feel and is a lot more fun to drive. I'm not saying that this M3 is gutless, its a good buy but it just lacked character.

I have a set of 4x100 but in 15" 2 wheels have already been widend to 15x8" other two are still needing new lips and one barrel needs a little bit of work keen?

what hp you getting out of your current engine? as a reference were getting 250rwhp with an S50B32 which is running a aftermarket ecu. (everything internal is standard) if CC is your aim, VAC Motorsports sell a 3.4L stroker kit for $7800usd

wow, its probably nearly got 400k on the shell. as for it being rare, i dont think so. you can pick up a diff for $50-$250 depending on condition. get some pics up

Have had a few e30's in my short time. 1985 318i Black Coupe Manual 305k 1983 320i Blue Coupe Manual 320k 1988 325i Diamond-black Sedan Manual 250k 1988 320i Diamond-black Coupe Manual 130k 1989 325i Diamond-black Sedan Auto 180k 1989 M325i Diamond-black Coupe Manual 280k tbh the higher k cars have been the nicest to drive.

I have been driving it round for the last few days, got the exhaust welded up and now it only cuts out when going slow (mid revs in 2nd or 1st) outta corners and idling, its fine for blatting onto the motorway tho . edit-swapped the old chip back in and it idle's allot better. might put the EAT chip back in once i know the car is 100% fine with the old one.

no issues fitting anything, having problems with the ignition cutting out under full load in the lower gears tho, full throtle in 1st and 2nd cuts out at about 3-4500 rpm. also has issues with idle, will be idleing nice then suddenldy cut out then try to regain itself. 3rd 4th and 5th not so much, might swap the standard chip back in and see how it goes. Any ideas?

Went to the track day, broke some stuff. Before it was all nice and clean. now its dirty as. ] manged to break the engine mounts. so got some new ones took the headers off and noticed how restrictive they are. so I got some new ones Also installed a EAT chip, cant wait till the next track day

sweet, got it off and pump changed. The bolt was pretty well seized on, but i got it off eventually
