got it back from raceFX with a swirl pot installed, also got an electric fan fitted. Will see if its fixed the problem this Saturday
  4. no drawback's at all. but if your getting ping issues to start with i'm guessing its something to do with the exchange.
  5. some ISP's don't turn it off, It's just a case of asking to turn it off. It will be obvious if you need it back on, games will be more laggy if your line isn't up to it.
  6. Basically it stops burst errors on bad phone lines, but it is not needed if your phone line is good (not 3rd world) Because it only affects ping, all ISP's leave it turned on (as default) as most of the customers wont notice, but all the gamers I know have it turned off so that ping's are lower thus giving less lagg. Explanation from Wiki Interleaving is used in digital data transmission technology to protect the transmission against burst errors. These errors overwrite a lot of bits in a row, so a typical error correction scheme that expects errors to be more uniformly distributed can be overwhelmed. Interleaving is used to help stop this from happening. Data is often transmitted with error control bits that enable the receiver to correct a certain number of errors that occur during transmission. If a burst error occurs, too many errors can be made in one code word, and that codeword cannot be correctly decoded. To reduce the effect of such burst errors, the bits of a number of codewords are interleaved before being transmitted. This way, a burst error affects only a correctable number of bits in each codeword, and the decoder can decode the codewords correctly. This method is often used because it is a less complex and cheaper way to handle burst errors than increasing the power of the error correction scheme.
  7. carjam says WOF ranout 7 months ago, yet seller says it runs out next year....... also I cant help but notice where the ignition is has wires hanging out and the plastic surround is sitting in the back, maybe their doing some maintenance on the ignition barrel? edit- also the k's stated are about half of what that really are, ahahahaah
  8. I get lower speeds than you, but my ping's kick ass My line stats are ................Down/Up SNR Margin 9, 12dB Line Attenuation 43, 27dB Data Rate 4613, 791kbps I would say most of it depends on the exchange and if you want a low ping, just get interleaving turned off
  9. Definitely need a good fuel feed, the E30S50 was leaning out on most corners
  10. can anyone clarify if this will fit a M50 525i with a Jatco transmission?
  11. or you can go this Saturday and pay $500.........you get an official certificate and numbers will be low

    Top Gear is back!

allot of people said that, don't think topgear admitted to it tho
  13. only go $1 S/R if you are prepared to be disappointed, I think you might find it only gets around $1500. My suggestion would be to try sell the wheels for $1000 then try sell the car for ~$2000

car is going back to RaceFX to get a swirl pot installed, leans out from corner 2 all the way to the sweeper, this is also causing it to overheat during that time. It Only happens when being pushed hard tho, as it didn't happen during the calender shoot FYI its pulling 7000 revs in 5th at S/F line goes nuts in a straight line and the turn in is amazing.
  15. that's pretty good compared to my dads Jag XJS V12 which is getting 7-8mpg round town
