haha yeah is out of mine at the moment, but for me will kill two birds with one stone so will be worth it in the long run for me.

Sonys approach is feel good, preset heaven. Which is fine to a point. When you start to get serious you need to look at the qaulity of the CMOS/CCD. I hate to put another choice in the mix .. but Im looking at one of these (best of dSLR and Film camera worlds) http://www.red.com/epic_scarlet/ Setups going to be about 10k all up but shooting native 5k res is going to rule.

OEM e46 m3 '01 bumper shells are about $1900 new. Doesnt include brake ducts or fog lights.

for me to.

This include all 4 door / Dash and center console gear shift surround. What condition, what colour (pattern eg walnut / onix blah blah), no broken clips or stalks and more importantly .. what you want for it? photos ?
-
I'm personally not a fan of the black centers on Snitzers... however, if they have increased your performace, its the right step. Maybe go for getting the centers paint 203 Samon Silver as your car is. Polish the rim ?

38 all round for summer town driving. 43 for runs, 46 for the track. winter I run higher than 38 pressures as I get a lot of rough pot holes in my area. 38 for open road to help with ride comfort. suits my weight vs profile / tire width(s). its totally depends on your car vs you tire vs what your driving.

450d still a great camera for your money ... I may even have a firend who is selling his old one. Ill ask if he still is. (he upgraded to a 5d mk1) (then the mk II came out ) http://www.canon.co.nz/products/cameras/di...lr/eos450d.aspx EOS pro lenes are where its at. for about 1800 odd you can get a really nice pro multi purpose lens that does great wide angle and great zoom with not bad macro. Saves you buying a general and a wide angle separate. You would want a 50mm f1.8 and maybe a telephoto as well when you can justify spending the $$$ on them I managed to grab my whole olympus e300 setup for 6k about 4 years ago (pro lenses included)... was pretty stoked. but yeah, lenses and filter kits (Cokin system http://www.cokin.com ) are what gives me my freedom to do my photography Another thing youll look into is a decent hotshoe flash and then maybe down the line remote pocket wizard flash senders and extra hot shoe flashes. for the true pro look. I borrow my friends from time to time.

imagine that .. not likely, would show up their car industry too much. I actually wished it was in N/A form (v10 m6 motor) personally.

Sony stuff is built to look good and copy paste default settings and is really just toy stuff for shop front noobs. (no offense) I would look at Nikon / Canon / Olympus. Canon really have some great SLR bodies. You can pick up an older body for cheap these days which is still capible of 10mpx Live view is good, however I feel once you get us to your camera / settings. You wont need it. One thing that is very important is the number of focusing IR points. Three doesnt cut it these days. Have a look at a good set of filters too. I run the coken system on my lenes. I got a great setup for about $270.

BMW Alpina B6 GT3 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The FIA GT3 European Championship is fast shaping up to be one of the most prestigious racing series on the FIA calendar. Recently the championship has attracted German tuner Alpina out of a 20 year racing hiatus. Alpina enters the FIA GT3 with its B6 GT3 racer which will compete with cars from manufacturers like Ferrari, Porsche and Aston Martin. The Alpina B6 GT3 is a race car based on the current BMW 6 Series. The good news is that it is also available for sale to the public. What these lucky people would be getting is a light-footed sports racer with a low centre of gravity. It runs on 18-inch Michelin wheels and weighs 1,350kg (2,976 lbs). It's fitted with a 4.4-litre V8 engine that is force-fed by a supercharger in order to discharge 530PS (390kW) and 725Nm of torque. A 6-speed sequential gearbox is included. The Alpina GT3 is capable of blasting from 0 - 100km/h in just 3.9 seconds and has recorded a top speed of 285km/h at the Nordschleife. Alpina is currently in negotiations with several personalities in motorsport in order to fill up the four driving seats available in its team. Customer teams will also be able to race the car in places like Belgium and Germany and other long-distance races. Before it takes to famous race tracks the public will be able to view it at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show in March where it will be debut next to the all-new Alpina B7. This is where my opinion differs .. I could't think of any worse than Pinnifarina. While the 7 was a blazing design It still served as a purpose. As others have said, the 5 was actually an amazing look car (with a kit) standard a bit like all BMWs .. average at best. However, things like the z4 which really are an almost perfect design. at the end of the day, its all a matter of opinion, None of us liked the e9x series either, but we have come to like them. I remember when the e46 was the new kid on the block, I thought I would never own one of those .. now look at me .. love it too bits. Love or hate chris bangle, he has influenced design and progress, and for that he is actually a great designer.

This is the best priced / high qaulity one around. You wont be able to do it yourself properly and new like this for cheaper. http://www.treehouseracing.com/index.php?o...5&Itemid=37

You know, even if someone is being nasty to you. If you act polite through the whole episode 9 times out of 10 the situation is diffused. With police, If your honest and co-operative, they will be fine. If they call you names / or get all up in your sh*t, don't react. When my band was touring through aussie recently, we had one of our security tags removed. So we wanted to get the bag searched. We had a customs officer who was trying to create a situation sighting GST this that and the rest with our band gear and unfortunitly my brother didnt know how to react to this and got all defensive. We got him out of situation and start awnsering the questions with yes or no awnsers. Everything turned out fine and we were let through.

Talk to hotwire (on this forum) he has a few around the $1200 mark (thats a good deal these days) . He'll also need to sort you out the jap to euro loom/harness conversion. You'll need the bm54 (euro) radio module too although it will im pretty sure work with your jap radio if you want to save some $$$.

Have a chat with hotwire .. your looking around $3500 to do it. Im qouting e46 16:9 there too .. im not sure what the 16:9 e38 display costs ... the othe ris the loom. Im not sure it its a retrofit or straight install into e38's check http://www.bimmernav.com to get an idea. Edit here you go: Again talk to hotwire about installation costs. or attempt it yourself .. just leave yourself around 7-8 hours for install. http://www.bimmernav.com/store/catalog/bmw...t-item-173.html You need the select the BM54 option and I would pay the extra for the 16:9 display too.
