sure was since i bought it ive had it repainted and had the gearbox rebuilt as the input bearing was starting to make abit of noise, other than that just routine maintanence and new tyres in july i took it for a vtnz warrent today it failed on the front indicator lens being broken everything else was fine will endevour to find a new one for it this week its been a fun and reliable car over the past year but i always prefered a large autobahn cruiser its also had the cat gutted and one resonator removed which means its very quite when cruising but has a true alfa howl at full throttle

hey guys just bought an e38 so im putting my alfa up for sale as i cant keep both at my flat its a 1996 v6 2.5 manual 175,000kms running great has a couple of niggly common alfa issues mainly a pessimistic fuel light its had a few add on bits sparco strut brace mintex race pads H&R lowering springs Speedline 17" wheels Near new tyres all round just had a fresh paintjob in monza red it hadthe btcc homologation spec wing on it but it developed a crack the one of the legs when removing it for paint can have the wing fixed and reinstalled or have the holes in the bootlid filled by negotiation my landlord wans one of my cars gone asap so i will take $2500 with the wing and bootlid fixed or $2000 as is negotiable

what will really burst the bubble is when people realise there is more money on earth than things to buy with it it used to be (from 5000bc until 1912ish) that maney notes were promisary for your gold being held in the safe i.e. but recently they abolished this system and its now sort of promisary that your money is worth something because the goverment says so when realistically if you look at all the resources and assets in the us there is about 20X more money than assets and most of it is just number on computers consider this if you have 100,000 dollars in the bank and the global economy collapses you may just be able to buy a weeks grocerys with that money

alfa romeos are designed to be a very good car but only for a short amount of time

i have a 155 v6 manual bit torque steery common faults are 1. guaranteed to have a dodgy fuel gauge 2. sloppy shifter (cheap bush to fix ~ $20ish 3. afms do need a clean occasionally and a tune(i haven't had to) 4. o2 sensors are a common fault again i haven't had to do one 5. wipers can be abit funny but just need a clean as they get grease from the gear drive onto the copper contact patch i opened up the exhaust on mine gutted the cat and removed 1 muffler sounds much nicer now and still legal noise very quick though a little thirsty i had to change the thermostat and spark plugs not expensive but can be very hard to get too you will need a good Allen key and Allen head socket set btw today just a mear 3 hours after i sold my other car first gear blew (normally very good gearboxs i was just giving it to much right foot )

how much did the block cost you? a friend of mine is ross taylors nephew i heard he threw a rod in his chevy drag car and offered to buy the block for this reason (then i found out how much a cast iron big block v8 weighs (need a forklift kinda weight ) so that never happened said dragster

hey guys strange kinda question but im looking buy an engine block from a bmw ideal v12 next best v10 v8 or possibly stretch to an old 635 block reason is i want to make something similar to this so i can give it to my dad for his birthday then my mum can make him take it away so anyone who knows of a block lying around ( a couple of pistons would be good but not essential ) any condition run crank etc would be ideal even with a hole in the side i dont really care other choice is if its a quad cam is something with the heads so i can have the chains etc exposed at the front and nicely painted rocker covers no internals needed

if they mix the markets they should send the falcon to us not mustang to aus even if they use the mustang body the falcon is a far better car with a much more powerful and efficient engines and suspension is far better

i took factory tint out of a mr2 and it was a real sticky glue wax and grease remover didnt do it i had to use acetone

bump also got lots of cheap mr2 bits for sale

i got sent a list of nice cars that got destroyed mainly so the owner could feel green (california thing i think) it included like a dozen 850csi bentlys cl5000 mercs etc i could probably find it but i dont want to look at it to be honest
