I've got an entire "BMW Colour" article in one of my BMW magazines. BMW's sell well in silver, black and blue. Apparently all the bright colours like red yellow and orange only suit some personalitys, particularly people who want to be noticed. Orange red and yellow looks great on certain BMW's (my opinion). So therefore BMW has more success in silver black and blue, because a lot more people buy those colours. I mean look at this colour chart for the E39 ( Excluding M5 which of course has Imola Rot) Alpinweiss (White) Schwarz (Black) Schwarz II (Black) Aspensilber Metallic (Silver) Arktiksilber Metallic (Silver) Blue Water Metallic (Blue) Kalaharibeige Metallic (Beige) Montrealblau Metallic (Blue) Oxfordgrün Metallic (Green) Oxfordgrün Metallic (Green) Saphirschwarz Metallic (Black) Schiefergrün Metallic (Green) Stahlblau Metallic (Blue) Sterlinggrau Metallic (Grey) Titangrau Metallic (Grey) Titansilber Metallic (Silver) Toldeoblau Metallic (Blue) Topazblau Metallic (Blue) So one of the reasons BMW doesn't really have those bright colours in the showrooms is because there actually isn't a colour in that series (E60, E65, whatever) My 2c -Emma

Yeah they definitely have lost their distinctiveness. As with most cars these days though.Blame the wind tunnels for making them so round and economical and sh*t.
-
I reckon they're quite nice. Infact all the new BMW's are nice.

I live in Milton if you want to know
