  6. 1/4'rly races? Gives the poorer racers time to work on the car...
  7. While i'm on the hunt for new wheel studs, i'm thinking about finding some bolts in the meantime... The pug's M12 x 1.25. Thinking i'll need a 80+mm bolt... (Wheel thickness, spacer, thread engagement) Just wondering what you guys run...
  8. it would mean that the car can be developed over time and it would be great as a conversion from road car to racecar for people.... but then you get people new to the series in they 700 banger and people 4 races in that have 2k+ in the car Edit: thats actually no tooo big a deal. 2k isn't too much James, you said tyres are free for upgrade... does that mean i can go by new semi slicks for it? Also brakes are free, does that mean i can upgrade the brakes to what ever i want??? I.E. upgrade from 205 brakes to 307 brakes which is a performance upgrade vs new pads and fuild for the 205 (maybe a seal kit) brakes...????
  9. whats the happs with running the same car twice? Do you get anouther 700 to spend on the car, because the initial 700 on cost of purchase has been done?

  11. I'm not to fussed as long as I don't get bent over for shipping. Was looking on rallynuts and it was going to be 50 euro for shipping and 38 for the studs!
  12. After replacing the front hubs to fit the new brakes I was unable to use the existing push in studs as we would have needed to completely pull apart the hub to attempt to get them in. Short of getting a second set of hubs that I can pull apart and press in the old studs. Anyone Know where I can buy screw in studs.
  13. what battery do you run?
  14. just thinking about... If we trailer a car to an event do we need WOF and Rego? I ask because i know a couple 205's that are sitting dereged... that would be perfect for this!
  15. what do have as basic/entry level safety requirements?
  16. can't you rig something up for the day?

  18. Ya he completely removed the entire loom for the car engine bay and interior looms, Weighed both looms together the stated cutting... He then re-weighed the looms after he'd finished. I called a couple places when i was looking at removing my system. There is some gases that are legal to vent. I know the gas in a 95 Peugeot 306 is legal.
  19. they need to rip up all the tarseal and make it all dirt again...
  20. i've seen 4 205's in the last 3 months go for less than a grand... and a couple of 309's for less than 1200... there was a 309 auction that went for 1500, that came with a spare parts car. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-233579639.htm - less than 250 if you know people to get on the road... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-233304935.htm - not bad at the moment. the people bidding at the moment will want it for parts...
  21. Car looks really good like that...
  22. hmmm there are some cheap pugs floating about these days...
  23. The pump on the 306 is a good 3-4 kg alone, then add the condensor, piping, referigant canister, etc... a good 10kg easy to remove... A friend deloomed his race car and removed 7kg of excess wiring from his mirage.

    I don't get this

nz needs the 3 strikes system like in the states... the guy that broke into John Key's place had 151 previous convictions!
