  13. It's all good man... I don't go out because i don't want to spend the money like i use to... I do have to say i really miss the box tho... the whole place was a fire hazard but the atmosphere was killer... I miss you bar being a Jazz bar... One of the GF's old friends dj's (if you could call it that) in there now or did... and ya wasn't pretty... spent more time at the bar than behind the decks... But i'm old, and would rather kick back at somewhere i can get a nice aged rum and chat with friends... It's cool to hear town is picking back up there... You remember when you had Angle, Bed, Jones, Kiss, Bachio, Owl, Sin, Quake, Ink, 76, Supper Club, Ibiza, Roots, Luminare, all on K road in that section between pitt and the bridge for the motorway? I know there was a couple more but i can't remember them..
  14. for me it was Monday = margareta's for hospo and backapacker night Wednesday = Seattle bar then the box Thursday = baciho ( place above kiss bar) Friday = k road Saturday = kroad Sunday = after party mostly ministry... Plus most nights at luminare (was next to supper club as my friend owned it) Ya drinking age was lowered but it was still much busier before then. All wS getting at is that this isn't a new fad it just the original posters just got into it. My friends all rocked the cdj's then moved to vinal, then gave up.... Well most o them. Everyone at school in 96-97 though they where dj's also.

    JiB's POS

Anyone got a spare one? Seriously take it to Autolign and get a Polyurethane one made up... I had my lower control arm bushes made by autolign, took 3 days and was 168 incl GST for the 2 solid bushes... IT was 196 + GST each OEM... They lasted me 3 years in the 306 (65,000km of abuse on lots of gravel at speed)...
  16. Beer is the world's oldest[1] and most widely consumed[2] alcoholic beverage and the third most popular drink overall after water and tea.[3] It is produced by the brewing and fermentation of starches, mainly derived from cereal grains—the most common of which is malted barley, although wheat, maize (corn), and rice are widely used. Most beer is flavoured with hops, which add bitterness and act as a natural preservative, though other flavourings such as herbs or fruit may occasionally be included. Some of humanity's earliest known writings refer to the production and distribution of beer: the Code of Hammurabi included laws regulating beer and beer parlours,[4] and "The Hymn to Ninkasi," a prayer to the Mesopotamian goddess of beer, served as both a prayer and as a method of remembering the recipe for beer in a culture with few literate people.[5][6] Today, the brewing industry is a global business, consisting of several dominant multinational companies and many thousands of smaller producers ranging from brewpubs to regional breweries. The basics of brewing beer are shared across national and cultural boundaries and are commonly categorized into two main types — the globally popular pale lagers, and the regionally distinct ales,[7] which are further categorised into other varieties such as pale ale, stout and brown ale. The strength of beer is usually around 4% to 6% alcohol by volume (abv.) though may range from less than 1% abv., to over 20% abv. in rare cases. Beer forms part of the culture of various beer-drinking nations and has acquired various social traditions and associations, such as beer festivals and a rich pub culture involving activities such as pub crawling or pub games such as bar billiards.
  17. Togate... Thats what i'm refering to also... 10yrs ago 1/2 my friends thought that they would give it a go.... Its nothing new just your friends have hit the fad... only 1 maybe 2 of my friends still dj's... Town (auckland) is nothing like what it was 10 yrs ago... there was easy 3 times the number of people out and about... and i'll say 2-3 times the number of clubs... clubs not bars...
  18. Brook you can get Simon this beer: or better still
  19. Errr No... My friends where playing "DJ" 15 years ago...
  20. How about ripping up the carpet and underlay and laying down some dynamat or something along those lines? I've heard a few cars with dynamat and it' cuts the noise down considerablely...
  21. Ya i know, but i would guess their is some extra reinforcement in the roof/sides in that part of the car...
  22. I can average 10.9L in dad's v8 explorer on the motorway from home to wiri... i though that was rather good...
  23. you would need to really lay down some stregthening over the rear tower mount area as you would be getting rid of the parcel tray area. Maybe something like a reinforced hoop? to add the stiffness back into that area.. Unless your making it a racecar and it would be caged and braced... thinking like the btcc 850 estate...
  24. Mr Fox. I think you should do the 2 door conversion. E30 M3 kit and this: Update The Damm Thing!
