The other name being suggested is David Coulthard. I hope it is not him, he has only ever been an average driver, even when the Mclaren were at their peak. I'd like to see G. Fisichella given a chance in a Williams. Cheers

Yeah, thats about right. It cost me around $980 (including the rechroming), and was quoted approx $750 if mine didn't require rechroming (for a replacement reconditioned rack, including installation).Cheers

Ralf Schumacher will be a Toyota driver until '08 After months of rumour and speculation, Toyota today confirmed that it has signed a three-year contract with Ralf Schumacher to race with the team from the 2005 season. "It is with pleasure that we can announce Ralf as one of Toyota's race drivers for the 2005 season," stated Toyota Racing Team Principal Tsutomu Tomita. "He has proven himself to be an extremely quick racing driver in his career, and I am sure that his vast experience will be extremely beneficial to our team." "We have not finalised who will partner Ralf in 2005, and this is something we are in no rush to decide on. We are happy with the job that Cristiano and Olivier are doing for us and both of them are under consideration for the remaining race seat next season." "There are still eight races of the season to go and everyone at Toyota is fully focussed on improving our level of performance to gain as many championship points as we can." Cristiano da Matta and Olivier Panis will continue to race for Toyota in the remaining events of the 2004 season with Ricardo Zonta as third driver and Ryan Briscoe as test driver. The team will make a decision on the remaining race seat towards the end of the season. In the meantime, Toyota will not comment on any speculation or rumours surrounding the remaining race seat until all contractual issues have been finalised. Source: f1live.com

Sorry mate, had 3 late nights running, and need a decent sleep (also fighting this bloody cold). Bloody work, always gets in the way of socialising. Nevermind, I'll catch up with you in the weekend and there will be a beer or two sunk in honour of your birthday. Hope you are have a great night. Cheers

failing that use brute force and ignorance.

You got it!!Trial and error with adjustable shocks would be your best bet.

I'm sure everyone here would like to wish East Coast Road's greatest amateur mechanic, and chief car destroyer a very happy birthday. I know you will have a few beers for all of us here. Cheers

I am assuming that it was just seeping past a seal to begin with, now the seal has fully blown. Believe me, you need to replace the rack. Cheers
-
I'm afraid you have no choice, you are in for a replacement steering rack. There are no fixes. I went through the same thing at the end of last year. Budget for about $700 - $1,000 for a replacement recondiotioned rack, or see if you can buy a second hand one from somewhere. Oh yeah, I should qualify this by assuming that the seals are leaking. Cheers.

I like version 1 the most, version 3 second best. Cheers

Sorry, Great North Road, not New North Road.

I've taken mine to the BM Workshop a couple of times. They have been really good, and are close to central Auckland. They are on New North Road, just out of Ponsonby. Cheers

Eine Geiles Video e39 M5 vs RS6 Avant vs CSL
Grant replied to Marcel 323Ti's topic in Videos & Sound
Oh yeah, I love the M3 CSL soundtrack that goes with the video. Cheers -
Right, I've long term loaded Ryan 2 bottlecaps to help him get rid of the tri-spokes. Someone else please lend or donate two more to him. They don't need good tyres as Ryan has very near new Bridgestone Grid II tyres on his tri-spokes that can be transfered onto the blottlecaps. Cheers
-
I'd just get a replacement one from the dealer. They are a common problem in the E30 anyway, so getting a second hand one may only be a temporary fix. Cheers

when i first posted this, it was 30g, 26g makes it an even more attractive propersition! sh*t yeah, I think $26k is an absolute bargain.Cheers
-
I'm afraid I find that very hard to believe.I think it would take a lot more than that to get a 323i to 185kw, even at the engine. Cheers
-
Fair enough, but I am of the opinion that the BMW I6, is one of the best engines around, in any format.Cheers
