oh sh*t, I had one lying around, but I was cleaning out the garage and thought to myself..."when am I ever going to need a flux capacitor again" and chucked it out with the recycling. It was even one of the Uranium free models.

    lights and stuff

Welcome to the site. Have you removed the handbrake boot etc and checked under there. Maybe the wire/switch that turns the light on in the dash, is damaged/broken etc. It should be pretty easy to fix. Good luck. Cheers
  7. Hi All I have just had a long chat with the guy from Pedders Suspension (in Mount Eden). They are an Australian based firm, with a few outlets here. They have a pretty good motor racing pedigree, and manufacture all their own components. He said that my potential choice of Bilsteins was the best one for an E30 325i (they don't make a sports application shock for the E30), but he felt that he could provide better springs than the proposed Jamex ones. His springs will only drop the car 30mm (which is good, I don't want a low car), and are a bit stiffer than the Jamex ones, and will work with the stock shocks fine until I get th Bilsteins in September. They are priced at $400 (incl GST). I am exploring different options, so am considering these as well. Has anyone had any experience with Pedders Suspension? Here is their URL...www.pedders.com.au Cheers

    What you call it?

yeah, sweet as to drive on. The sensors are in the brake pads, you will see them, as a wire is attached to them and leads away from the brake pad. It maybe a case of just unplugging them and cleaning the contacts (it gets pretty dirty under there). Cheers

    What you call it?

Check the sensors, these are temperamental at the best of times. But yes, it definately is the Brake Pad warning light. Cheers

    All Blacks Trial Match

I also think that we should beat the English fairly comfortably, as they are sending their B side over again. Clive Woodward is a very very clever man. He keeps his eye on the main prize at all times, and just concentrates purely on the World Cup. Graham Henry is much the same, and he is a good coach, and the AB's should do well under his coaching. Cheers
  18. I can safely say it didn't have 140HP, but did handle very well, and stayed very flat through fast cornering. It was very good at high revs, but the roads mean you can't go very fast so it was ideal for the roads. It was very slippery over the gravel road portion of the loop. However this was good fun.

    All Blacks Trial Match

Yes I will be going, without a doubt. Two good teams. I agree, good to see Mehts at least get a run. He deserves it, he is class, and can control the game like no-one else (except Johnny Wilkinson...but we don't mention him). Him and Spenser offer two good contrasting styles of play. Xavier Rush....what a joke. He is the most overrated player in NZ (him and Caleb Ralph). He is crap, total and utter crap. He can't and never will perform above domestic level rugby. However, Aucklanders seem to like him, so Graham Henry has given him a run to stop the whinging Aucklanders. Daniel Carter - all class, the modern game best suits playing a good 1st five playing at 2nd five, so the likes of Carter and Mauger are in their element, they can use their kicking game to get in behind the newer style defensive lines. Good to see Jonno Gibbes getting a run, he deserves it, he is a good hard traditional rugby player and will keep everyones feet on the grounds and kill a few ego's. Same with Keith Robinson. We need good (real) hard nosed forwards with reasonably rugby brains (like the English have had recently), not the pretend hard nosed forwards with no brain at all we have had recently. I like the choice of Nick Evans, he deserves a trial. What he lacks in size, he makes up in elusiveness. He is a great ball carrier, and safe under the high ball too. He isn't scared to get amongst it, and has a good rugby brain on him. I think that the backline looks very good, and with Umaga in there amongst the rest of them will be good defensively as well as on attack. The forwards are ok too, not great, but they are the best we have, but I'm sure they will keep the English at bay and hopefully be able to provide the backs with decent ball, if not then we are in real trouble as Marshall is a very good halfback, but not when the forwards are being outplayed, he is too slow in getting the ball out, and that can be costly.
  21. Marcel I take it that your insurance is void once you are on the track? It must get pretty scary (and potentially expensive) when idiots are acting like the WRX you were describing. Give us a full report from the Nurburging as well after your visit next weekend. Cheers
