International - I think you put it pretty well. I agree, the Cambridge system seems (from my reading on this) to be the best all round system. I just stuggle to understand the NCEA system "rewarding" (I know this is probably not the best word) underachievers with an Achievement when quite frankly they have not achieved. I guess this is just a sign of the world we live in today. Unfortunately this does not work in the real world once you are in the cold hard working environment. Well done to those anyway who got M's and E's, I'm glad that they take some work to get, and you can therefore feel proud. Cheers Grant

Looks great - you have done a great job with this car - no wonder you are proud. Cheers Grant

What ever happened to School C, 6th form cert and bursary? At least you got a proper grade, that actually meant something. Education has gone to hell in a handbasket (not that any of you guys doing NCEA can do anything about it, but I do feel sorry for you). I guess though it gives underachievers a sense of achievement, as it seems impossible to "fail". Cheers Grant

Yeah - was thinking that.....

I admire the effort, but not my thing. Cheers Grant

I completely agree, I think that the asking price is 10k above the current market value.I'd expect to pay less than 35k for a good condition E36 M3 Evo. There are another couple of them on trade me for 15 - 16k (abeit with a lot higher km's), but the close to $20k difference would go along to freshen up the higher km ones. However, you never know, it may sell at this price, and good luck to the seller. Cheers Grant

Quite simply, the guy seems to be a smart assed prick, and if you look at the previous feedback where he has sold cars, quite often the cars are far from what they were advertised as. However, this car seems pretty genuine.

Nothing at all wrong with them, I've used them for years.

Haha - It definately is an M6. They were a 3.5L, and the only of the old 6ers made after 1984 was the M6.In fact in 1986 there were just under 6,000 of them made. Cheers Grant

I'd go the Subaru if I was just after a form of transport. E30's are old, always breaking down, and get a tad unreliable, and are also a bit basic technology wise. However, the E30 will be the most fun of the two cars, and when they are going well, are great, and as you have mentioned are easy to work on. I guess it depends on your needs at the end of the day. I would only ever own an E30 again, if it was not a daily driven car, and just used for fun driving. Cheers Grant

I'll be downloading the episodes each week, I love Knight Rider, it is second only to the Dukes of Hazzard.

Grant replied to Driftit's topic in General Discussion
Yup, on the whole one of the best episodes of TG, in fact the whole of Season 10 was bloody good, barely a dud amongst it. Cheers Grant -
JP I'll get some at the same time (one set for the 328). I'll send you an email later with the details. Cheers Grant

The early E26 320i's (jap imports) also have the GM tranny.
