Happy Birthday Ollie, eat some cake, blow out some candles and have fun.

Cool, I'll go specifically on that day to fill up, no queue at all, choice of pump, and I'll be in and out nice and quickly. Stupid idea, won't achieve anything, I can't believe that people would fall for spam like this. Cheers Grant

You will struggle to find a better E30 325i than this one.

You sound like an angry man.

Not a BMW nebbie just a forum nebbie.

Very cool - welcome. Cheers Grant -
This topic is meaningless without some kind of justified reasoning and explanation of why we should be weary of this car. Cheers Grant

What is stupid about this is the "See Owners Manual" is a waste of time, from memory all it does is say take your car to the dealer for them to look at. Cheers Grant

I think you will actually find that you are getting this message because their is a little switch connected to your brake pedal that is playing up. Very common "issue" on E36's also a cheap and easy part to replace. Do a search on here, it has been covered numerous times before. I get it from time to time in my 323i, just never got around to replace the switch, as the brake lights still work fine (and the message goes away quickly). Cheers Grant

I don't give him my money, I exchange it for the cleaning of my cars. A mutually beneficial business transaction in my books.Back on topic though - find out what they use at the Car-Fe. It has been two weeks since the 328 was last there, and the tires are still as black as the ace of spades, and I have done 2 trips to Hamilton, plus other driving round town in the meantime. Cheers Grant

Same here - I managed to work it out too.

I use the Car-fe. They keep the black bits black, the green bits green, the interior nicely vacuumed and clean, and the windows nice and see through. All while I have a coffee and read the newspaper. Last week when I was in there, on the forecourt was a new M6, a V10 M5, and my car all at the same time (I was badly letting the side down). Cheers Grant

I'm not sure what year Pboy's car is, but the very early E36's had a different front suspension set up (can't remember the exact difference off hand). It changed in late 1992. That is probaby why yours differs from Pboys (assuming his is a 1991 or 92 year of manufacture). It is hard to tell you without a picture. Cheers Grant

Do you have any grasp of the english language at all, if so, please use it? I (and others) are getting sick of your text language. You are using a computer, not a cell phone.I'm not trying to sound overly harsh, but it gets pretty tiresome. Cheers Grant

Cool thought so. We own an apartment about 100m from that carpark, and I also rent an office within 2 minutes walk of there. I've always thought it would be good for a car photo shoot. Nice shots BTW. Cheers Grant

Where were the photo's taken?

I particularly like the Designated Drunk, a magic idea (so long as I am never that person). I like to get drunk on my own terms and at my own pace...but am all for someone else taking the fast route. Cheers Grant

Cool - must have only appeared in the facelift ones. My pre-facelift 323i foesn't have it, but all the facelift 323i's seem to have it.The more I look at the pics of your car, the sharper it looks Cheers Grant

Does it have Traction Control? I can't see the button, it would be the first 328 I have seen without it. Cheers Grant

I don't know of anywhere, but I would think that it would be very cost prohibitive. You would be better off to sell the 323i and buy an already turbo'd car. However why you would want to turbo the 323i is above me, they are a good car already, a good combination of ok power and economy. Good luck anyway, Cheers Grant -
Very nice. Welcome to the Manual E36 328i club. Cheers Grant

I am pretty sure Brennan has hit the nail on the head, and that these will not fit.

Is it there all the time, or only once the car has been driven a bit. The reason I ask, is that our 323i had a thump as well that was not bad but audible once the car was warm (i.e had been driven for 30 minutes or so). It turned out to be the sway bar link, it had the tiniest amount of play in it (and I mean tiny), that once the suspension components had increased in temperature a bit (through movement), caused the noise. It was hard to diagnose, and I had the car looked at three times before it was pinpointed. Good luck Cheers Grant

TDP - best and most amusing read i've had in a while. Whilst I am no help at all, good luck, sounds like you have created a fair bit of work and learning for yourself. Cheers Grant

Strangely enough, I was wondering this 2 days ago when paying my bills for the month. I have about 60% of a box of 45c stamps left, and was wondering how long NZ Post would keep delivering mail with the 45c stamps (only) on it. As it was only bills, I didn't really care, however my January invoices will be sent out with a 50c stamp definately. Cheers Grant
