Like people who do nothing but slam Bimmersport on bfc, yet still remain an active poster on Bimmersport?Seems highly hypocritical to me. Cheers Grant

Checked the wiring to the actual plug? Mine wasn't working some time ago, and I had to resolder the wire (not a major at all). Just pull the tray out at the bottom of the centre console and check the plug wiring. Cheers Grant

I have one, but am pretty sure Gus has it (he borrowed it some time back).Gus, do you still have it? If so can you lend it to Mops (or drop it off at my place and Mops can come grab it). Cheers Grant

Let me help out here.its BIMMER for cripes sake. Who the hell cares?BIMMER/BEEMA/BEAMER all the same unless your one of those annoying purists I agree, who gives a toss what people call it.You really have to be some kind of anally retentive wanker to make a big deal about it. I don't really give a sh*t what is used, and I interchange the use of Bimmer or Beemer without giving it a second thought...maybe that means I am not a real enthusiast. Oh well....sh*t happens. Cheers Grant

only if the car starts to 'overheat' in slow traffic, or when you are stopped (i.e. when there is not enough air flowing through the radiator). If it is always running hotter than it should, it is unlikely to be the fan clutch. Cheers Grant

I agree, and the ones who think that the courtyard of where I live is their ashtray, they sit on their desks smoking, and then just toss their butts into the courtyard for all of us to enjoy.Cheers

Which is what Im doing....so your point is ? My point is...why bring it up to start with, just be happy in the knowledge that you have bought the goods cheaper elsewhere. There is a Group Buy section, if you want to set up a group buy, so please use the appropriate section.
-
Give the guy a break. In the world of supply and demand, if you can get a higher price for the goods you are selling then good luck. If you can find the same goods cheaper, then go for it. Cheers

Oh yes, you know I hate that.Cheers

Just think of the petrol you will save in these times of high fuel prices while it is off the road.

Solves your paint problem I guess (maybe). Call your insurance company, then sit back and have a beer. Hell, sh*t happens. I'm hoping that someones hits me in the same area, then I can get the big scrape on my car fixed at someone elses expense. Still sucks though. Cheers Grant

sh*t that's harsh, you are supposed to be reimbursed milage at the IRD approved rate which is $0.62 per km.I claim that rate for work use, was bloody good for my recent work that had me travelling to Cambridge/ Te Awamutu at least once a week for 4 months. 0.62 is the rate up to 3000km, then it drops to 0.19.0.28 is the flat rate. That means i get over $100 for every tank i use, so i make money. (its meant to cover maint. also) I do large kms, so flat rate is prefered. Cool, fair enough and good point.I engineered my KM's to be under 3000 for a couple of months, and then bumped up the next months expense claim to compensate.

Of course it will never work, mainly because it is a stupid half baked idea to start with. This was tried by a small number of morons a few years ago. What a joke, there are a number of factors leading to the current prices of petrol, very few of them are due to the oil companies, who after all are in business to make money, and therefore the economic principals of supply and demand come into effect. Oil is a commodity, like any other consumer good. The oil companies didn't start the current middle east/ Iraq issue (cock up) etc, nor did they cause the increased demand in China and India, nor did they cause Hurricane Katrina. All of which are the major contributors to the current price of oil. Basically if you can't afford to fill up with petrol, then dust off your ten speed, or start walking. After all, the world has faced a number of these 'oil shocks' before, and will do so from time to time again, people should just get over it, and manage the situation as best as possible. They don't like it when you snap their cambelts though, thats what my poor old civic suffered in the end.May it RIP But all in all...big props to Honda, I have owned four of them, and they never broke down, except for when the poor old civic gave its life. Cheers Grant

f**k, what a load of sh*t. Some people have too much time on their hands, and love to invent conspiracy theories. We should reply to everyone that sends one of these waste of time emails and tell them to f**k off. Cheers Grant
