You'd expect that with Barum's though.I'm of the opinion that i's much rather sacrifice wear for better performance, after all there is not much keeping your car in contact with the road, so you need to make sure that what you do have is pretty good. Cheers

The rears I replaced were just over two years old and would have done about 30,000km's in that time. The current fronts I have have been on for about a year, and they still have 5mm or so tread on them (but would have only travelled about 10,000km's in that time). Cheers

Hi All Just thought I'd let you all know what I am doing the same weekend as the Megameet is on. I am doing the 2 Day Rally School with Rally Drive NZ. (www.rallydrivenz.co.nz). Brook got it for me for xmas. It should be good fun, and I am looking forward to it a lot. Cheers

Hi All I needed new rear tyres. I was completely happy with the Yokohame A539's I had been using, but Yokohama have recently released a successor to these the C.drive's. I just put two of these on the back. I had a real decent drive in my car this morning and really pushed it. The tyres are brilliant, even with my reasonably small footprint (195 60R14) the tyres held really really well. The big test will be on a wet day (however the A539's were really good in the wet, so I am confident that these will be the same, or better). However so far, for dry performance I can recommend these. Here is more on them: http://www.yokohama.co.nz/patterns.htm Cheers

Before I go doing anything to my ECU (i.e. adding a Unichip), tell me more about your ECU plans? Will it be fully tunable? Will you be doing the tuning (i.e. will you be having a dyno etc?) Will the ECU allow fully customisable fuel and ignition tuning? Oh, also what will the likely cost be? Cheers

You don't need a tool. Go to this link: http://www.bmwe30.net/cgi-bin/datacgi/data...0042&Section=02 Cheers

MikeFYI, I cleaned up the gearbox I got from you a couple of months ago, have new seals ready to put in and will replace the fluid with synthetic, and am getting it put in on the 24th. Rather than attempting to weld on a new mount (where the one was broken), we are just going swap the rear housing with my current one, so that gets around that problem. The gearbox itself cleaned up to look like new, amazing what a bit of wblow grease does. Cheers

Hi I have got an email from a guy who has just bought an M3 CSL and is after a copy of the above video (digitally is best). Anyone have a copy that I can get a copy of. Cheers

Will one of these bolt bolt straight in (i.e. I don't want to make any alterations)? I have sprung quite a coolant leak (more like a coolant cannon when the pressure builds up) where the coolant runs through the LHS of the throttle body. Cheers

and I got first dibs on your weaves.

Does anyone have one they would be willing to part with? Cheers

Hello Whatever you do, don't buy a cheap one, they are rubbish (I once got a nice big ticket for speeding even though I had my Uniden one on and running). The cop had a good laugh at my expense. Like everything you get what you pay for. If I were to buy another one,I'd only buy a Valentine 1 - pretty much everything else is rubbish. Cheers
