I find the improvement in normal road usage good too, especially on roads like up the Coromandel. I've never had mad body flex, but what flex there was is reduced. I do agree though, that it is a bit of a waste of time with standard suspension, or if you drive like a nana, but if you have uprated suspension, and you push the car from time to time, then you will really notice the difference. Cheers

Oh yes they are, my RD one makes a huge difference.Cheers Seriously, what difference does it make? It reduces the understeer through hard cornering dramatically, the car stays a lot flatter (square) to the ground allowing grip to be better maintained and corners to be taken at much higher speeds. To be fair though, the difference was only really evident after the suspension was changed to the Bilstein/ H&R Sport package. Cheers

I'm with you, I watch both, but prefer TG. I actually think that JC is quite funny, and I also think that Paul (the midget) is pretty funny too.I could take or leave the other guy. However, I'm the first to admit that Tiff is one of the best drivers, and his limited thrashing of the cars is always good value. Cheers

That wasn't a dig at you, that was a dig at the people making a big deal about you selling the car.How you choose to sell it is completely up to you, and people should just let it be, it just all gets a bit boring. Good luck with the sale, personally I think you are wanting too much for it, but then if you can get that much for it more power to you. As you said, if you are not in a hurry to sell it then you might as well go for gold. Besides I am of the highest calibre. Cheers

If only they would fit, man that would be awesome.Cheers

Yes it is, maybe you have higher priorities. I spend a lot of money on my car, but money is an object as I have other more important priorities. After all when it is all said and done a car is still only a car (unless you truly have something rare and unique, and in that case actually have an investment). Cheers

Who ever paid $1100 got ripped off. You could get a long way towards some 18 inch chromies for that price. Cheers

Just thought I'd post them. A few of the cars. Some idiot turned up in a Jeep Wrangler and parked up beside the Bimmers, kind of ruined the look...but what can you do it is a public place and it hard to keep the riff-raff out.

When I collapsed my engine mounts, I noticed you could feel the engine move on the mounts when you were idling and stationary (almost like in a big old V8), this has gone now that I have replaced my engine mounts(2 weeks ago).I never noticed it during acceleration or just cruising, only when stationary at idle (doesn't mean it wasn't there though - I just never noticed). Cheers

just a reminder that this is for people interested in the car, or for genuine questions to be asked, not for opinions on the car etc to be expressed. I have deleted the posts that shouldn't have been here. Cheers

I second that, having a good reliable car sounds more important than the transmission type.Cheers

Gidday BMW E30 M3 - for a RHD one anywhere from $35k - $50k (even higher for one in new condition). These are very rare here, and rarely come up for sale (there is a LHD one for sale atthe moment, but it can't be registered) BMW E36 Evo - around $35k - $50k as well (you can get the 3.0l ones for around $25k - $35k). These are as common as dirt. BMW M Coupe - not too sure, but I would guess around the $50k mark - there are not that many in the country (there are a few M Roadsters, but fewer M Coupes). Cheers
