reasonably priced low mileage US spec M3
Phil-540i replied to lord_jagganath's topic in TradeMe discussions
What - its got a foglight hanging out?? Which is a E36 thing anyway............ -
Lols - just use this one!!! Funny, I don't like 911's one little bit, but 928's are ok, for a Vdub.............
-
I go to Canterbury quite regulary, & it fascinates me just how f#cked up things still are down there ae. I really feel for the people there, because even as a visitor as such for couple of weeks at a time, its not hard to see its really starting to get to people there now........Christchurch to New Zealand, is what New Orlans was to USA after its flood, IMO.........

Having snoozed & loosed on the red one, it;d be way way waaaaay to simple to just buy the blue one now............. Edit - whoever inspects it - "its mint" are the magic words............

Regular Car Reviews: 1995 BMW E36 M3 - pretty funny
Phil-540i replied to Golfboy666GTI's topic in Videos & Sound
Yea, great ae............... Stance is just the lastest fashionable knob-jockey thing for those that wear their caps backwards - it'll disappear quick as hopefully....... At least NZTA have had the good sense to put a restriction on camber mods here in order to try to stop riced out junkers from spearing off into the shrubbery at the first corner they get to at speed....... -
Sounds an interesting place already dude, yet here ya are, in good old New Zealand ae, keeping our ditches clean & doing your bit for our boys in blue........ So - we all awaiting with baited breath now to see what the blue coupe is like, correct......??
-
Faaarck, ya know what your prize is ae................ rather you than me............ So not Egypt then...........hmmm?? Ya don't sound like a 6ft blonde goddess driving a brick, so I guess Sweden is out then too............who else makes rubbish cars besides the poms, yanks, Indians & Swedes....?? Edit - BTW, that pic - bit rich, smacks of pot / kettle, glasshouses / stones a bit don't ya reckon.............??!!
-
Still sounds like Egypt but hey - India?? They build $hitty cars anyway...........
-
Ahh, Egypt...........???? Which is not a country on the NZTA list, as per what Andrew said in the other thread, so tadahhhhhh, you get full licence here, with conditions being 'gotta have a supervisor'.......... It's I dunno, like having a permanent pillion on a camel I suppose until ya sit the full test.............?? http://www.nzta.govt.nz/resources/application-conversion-overseas-licence-dl5/docs/dl5.pdf You must also pass the appropriate New Zealand driving test(s), unless you have held for at least 2 years a driver licence issued in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom or the United States of America. If you have a driver licence issued in Hong Kong or South Korea and have held your licence for at least two years, you will not need to sit a practical test when applying for a car or motorcycle licence. If you are applying for a heavy vehicle (truck) licence a practical test will be required. Edit - Ahh, I think can see part of the problem - even your speelcheckr is f#cked up dude, as NZTA themselves call it a NZ driver's licence, not license, or lisence - hopefully it all makes more sense to ya now.......
-
Lols - I said it was a full licence........... so what country did ya immigrate from then because it'll be tied up back to that licence..........?? That cop is great IMO, because he has at least made ya do something about it, which = a win all round.........

Yea mate, that's GREAT!!!! Primo narration too, & I agree with the dig at 'stancing' - its just a big w*nk IMO............lets take a perfectly good car & totally f#ck up how it handles & screw up its totally drivability.............. -
Can't help but wonder what how long NZTA have been open for.....................
-
Brilliant..............................!!!!! That's the one.............. Edit - continuation is here--------------------> http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/47393-looking-to-buy-a-328i/
-
Theres a trick question in here somewhere ae bro, I can just tell........................... I think we've been down this road, its the same road where a 328 is faaaaaaaster than a 540........ Yea nah, gee I dunno - that bit on your licence where it SAYS ITS A FULL LICENCE- yea nah, means nothing ae - that's just NZTA taking the pi$$ - they issue a full licence to anyone that can string a sentence together & suck oxygen un-aided....... For those that can't, it becomes, wait for it, I can see your cogs turrrrning over digesting this bit - oh I dunno, maybe, like just maybe, as a wild card sorta thing, its a full licence, with conditions attached............like having a supervisor, or may only operate a vehicle with alcohol interlock fitted, or automatic transmission only or.......... But yea, let us know how ya go tomorrow ae, & feel free to stay around afterwards..........& buy a BMW.........
-
Anyone know this e60 545i in Waipu for sale ?
Phil-540i replied to RvT's topic in General Discussion
That's really poor of the BMW dealer - obviously train of thought they've got is they have no faith that the vehicles they are selling are capable of racking up some half decent kms......... Edit - its pi$$ poor.............& really slack!!! -
Continuing in the correct place that's a bit less incorrect than where it was......... " so even if I win more, can they put another careless charge on me, saying what IF. and its a big IF. I can manage to get him to drop the fine by? can he then put up the careless use charge up again? or give me demerits? other then that, told ya i have dont drink anymore, have been sober for half a decade now. so it cant be the crap you southerners make with those rotten potatoes and wood stain... so its got be something else.... your on..........." Umm, no Grasshopper - they can't reissue the careless use charge against ya............
-
I'll take my answer to YOUR thread ae.............rather than naff this one any further.........
-
I'll take that bet.............a dozen Lion Red for you if you're right, hell I'd even go 2 doz, & umm, I drink Woodstock........coupla packs be great....... Rather than 'win both ways', could also 'lose both ways', although at the moment you've already 'won' a bit, as for the 83rd time your careless use charge is gone......... You've got a full licence, with conditions - anyone that's not dragging round a guide-dog can see that, with the pics you loaded.......
-
Might be hard pushed to claim that as 'testing quality' though............
-
Hmm, ok, lets try this undiplomatically............cos I'm really confident you're wrong........again....... I've seen it on other full licences................ All NZTA is saying is that hey, its a full licence, but you're too dumb to drive without a supervisor. Same as theres licences for people that are too dumb to drive a manual......... In some ways, there're actually saying a restricted driver is safer between the hours of 5am & 10pm.......... We can go round & round forever on it, but its eating into your car buying time, & umm, you're still gonna end up paying $400 slides........ In the meantime, just means ya gotta take your Mum with ya when you're out driving........ or missus or boyfriend or whoever floats your boat, so long as they've got a FULL NZ LICENCE themselves.......
-
Hmm, I see theres a 1 owner low km E30 at our 2nd favourite zoo too............Edit, my bad, gone already at 8.30 tonight!!! $4850 was asking money, 85,000kms from memory, original. and this verty http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-682579350.htm
-
They'll have a secret handshake happening soon on 328 E36's............. To keep in topic (not tropic.......), can ya drive down Moorhouse yet mate without getting whiplash on the bumps.......??? EQC doing anythink for ya's down there yet or are they still playing pocket billiards........
-
Good on ya............. Yea, as I was saying, $400 for you, tsk tsk................. Might wanna work on getting that condition removed ae.............. You're right on general rule of thumb is on a full licence you don't need a supervisor unless its a condition of your licence........which in your case, it is. Also means whatever you drive, or have been driving ever since you got that licence is not insured if you are driving it without a supervisor.
-
I 2nd zat............... Edit - I've even got a condition on my full licence that applies 24/7, irrespective of what class vehicle I'm driving.........but at least I know about it........ So if I break that condition, I'll be not passing 'Go', not doing anything bar paying $400 too............ I 'think' theres 20 demerits too for the offence...........???
-
I think Colin is on the right track, haha......... Yea Allan, you're not wrong in what you're saying re licences..............least it panned out ok for ya though........... Whatdyaofferfortheblu36Mojo???? Oh, btw, no confusion here yet, but its getting close..............
