The only issue with LED'ing the dash clusters is the LED's have a much skinnier light beam than that of a regular bulb. a regular bulb throws light everywhere, when an LED may only throw a 30 degree arc out directly infront of it. HOWEVER - LED's are getting better and better all the time

Try some local wreckers? they may have a mostly complete car. I know theres a M40 318i Manual here which looks straight enough, it's only missing springs and a few other parts.

I did this, But it was my own stupid fault so Noone was to blame, replaced the pump for the gearbox and it's been good as gold. You have to fit the torque convertor PROPERLY otherwise it f**kS the oil pump. (or worse) the Torque convertor has to be fitted to the gearbox before it's fitted to the motor. it has to go below the bellhousing. I had a mechanic explain it to me ~.~. I think you need to only give warranty on these autoboxes if you install it yourself. - Yes, it's not fair. but it saves your ass.

It shouldn't be that expensive to cert? as it's all OE parts, so shouldn't be a huge cert job. (I think it's like 400 bucks) I would just do it anyway, better to be safe and legal than to be er, sorry.

If you want it to be 100% legal too, you will need to certify it. However, VERY low chances of actually them catching you. but you never know, if you're in an accident, they might go.. hmm that's not a 4cylinder. Just letting you know

I got some for nothing at the wrecker. make sure you test everything before putting it back in, a few of mine stopped working due to not being twisted properly, now my Fuel light doesn't work at all.

It will fit, but the sedan seats are rounded at the corners, to make it easier to get in. Fronts fit fine, I'm rocking a Coupe sport.
