Honestly mate, Listen to what everyone is saying, IMO Do the 2.7L conversion and leave it at that, 2.7L make quite a fair bit of torque over the standard B25. Your going to spend $300 getting the ITBs and yes you MAY have it running but its not going to like it. As Gaz said do it once and do it right. Don't do an half ass attempt because in the end you will end up spending more money correcting it. Sorry if it seemed harsh but your talking about wanting more power when all its going to do is decrease it, if you don't to it properly.

My host parents here in Spain have a 535d 6 speed and it hauls ass. Brillant car and its changed my whole perspective of diesels, I use to hate them but I would rather have a 535d over a 535i.

PM Ethan (DrphTa) he just imported some LM Reps from Cali. His are 18x9.5 (rear) and 18x8.5 (front). He showed me 19 inch ones he was looking at and I don't remember them being much more than 1,800 USD. Don't quote me on that though.... LMs are awesome on E39s

Not a fan of the M6 reps. Only cars they should be on is the M6 IMO Get some BBS LMs and I like the standard tail lights over the tinted ones.

Bloody hell they are expensive... Nearly 2 grand and they aren't even staggered! There was a special on ECS Tuning about a month back for 4 18" staggered Style 5s for 900 USD. $5200 for a replacement set?

Been to the Yucatan Peninsula aswell, Chichen Itza would have to be one of the most places things in the world. Especially when you climb to the top and you can see for miles over the rainforest. Tulum is amazing aswell and a lot less touristy than Cancun if thats your thing. If your doing Chichen Itza you may aswell do Uxmal aswell. Both amazing places. Anyway back on topic...
