Suspension/Chassis Upgrade Recommendations?
AN E30 Fan replied to fatjoez's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Decent Springs (H&R), Strut Brace and maybe some bigger Sway Bars. Thats what I would do. -
Pics will need to be 800x600 in size or it won't let you upload them. Keen to see pics of it
-
hahahaha, I hate it when people ask for free sh*t because they've made a massive order. "Can I have free drinks because I ordered 5 Bacon Backfires? ..... no"
-
Lol, I remember that.

Calling Tristan....

about 9.5L per 100km in Dudlee (M10 318i Manual) Just round town driving really, Hardly ever use the motorway
-
^ I believe the car is manual I would have been happy to but I work all day Monday. I can do it Tuesday if it doesn't work out.
-
Try these guys: http://www.ultraracing.com.my/Catalog.asp?...=E39&page=1 I believe there was a group buy for them about a year ago and everyone said they were pretty good products. Relatively cheap too I believe

^This. I have Bilstein shocks and king springs in mine and its great but in reality I would like to upgrade to H&R sometime soon.

Welcome mate! Love calypsorot E30s and the wheels too. What part of Canada are you from?
-
ahh yes I remember, I had just finished cleaning it, came up really well. I saw that 530i, black right? Lowered and sitting on some wheels too. I saw the driver wave at someone in Cafe on Kohi

E39 1996 Rear Suspension/Brakes
AN E30 Fan replied to Kiwi4sure's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Its very hard to diagnose things over the internet. I suggest you update your profile and tell everyone where your from and then send it in to Glenn or Ray so they can have a look at it. -
Cheers bro! Will have look tomorrow

If the center bore is smaller than my car...
AN E30 Fan replied to Tristan's topic in Wheels & Tyres
I know Brugar Engineering redrill wheels but I'm not sure if they will increase the bore size. Give them a call and ask, also try Arrow Wheels -
Sorted, Cheers Ray

Need one before Monday for Show N' Shine, mine broke off this evening. Also need a Manual Sunroof winder but I don't need that urgently Will ring around tomorrow
-
I ended up going with Insure Direct. Its very cheap for me, $41 a month for a car thats been lowered and has different wheels. $1250 excess and I'm only 18
-
In no way am I condoning what you did, because well it was just plain daft. But you could try for diversion if you have never had a run in the the police before. I'm not sure if you can get a diversion for Street Racing though...

If the center bore is smaller than my car...
AN E30 Fan replied to Tristan's topic in Wheels & Tyres
Correct. Offset will be more or less the same, but you will need a machine shop to make the center bore bigger. -
Welcome! Pics are compulsory if your around on Monday come to the Show N' Shine out in Botany, would be a great opportunity to meet a few people.
-
Especially driving at night, with road flooding and a fogged up windscreen. I never want to drive in this weather again. Back on topic, great work Jack I look forward to seeing the car on Monday along with 30 or 40 other BMWs

Want very badly. Flat backs can be re-drilled. However, I think the center bore on these is 66.1mm and E30s are 57.1mm Plus there are way too many E30s rocking BBS RS nowdays
