  1. Offset would get worse with spacers. lower offset wheels stick out further, so will require guard work to make them fit properly, and stretching the tyres would probably help aswell. Jase's wheels were most likely replicas made in an E36 offset (Have only found one car on the net that has genuine M-Pars, s*&t load of guard work)

    Moving on up.

Looks like a great buy. Well done. I do like that interior trim.
  3. Thats sweet! Definitely a hell of a car. Wonder if any of those made their way to NZ? Can always dream

    A Pillar Cover

I have read somewhere that you can get metal clips that you glue onto the back of the cover to replace the broken plastic ones? I think this has been done on my drivers side one, but the glue has come unstuck on them. I don't really notice that it's not exactly flush anymore.
  5. +1Got mine when I bought my car, was about the same. Not sure if it would be as easy as the remote key to get the chip out though, would have to destroy the key to get it (if you can't use the key as a whole?).
  6. I'd check that the wires are connected to the plugs properly, might have come loose over time. Only thing I can think of.
  7. I don't think there is a Motorsport version of the E36 like there was for the E30 (atleast not in NZ). Everything could be optioned from factory, so would be hard to distinguish between the two...
  8. This is why I was surprised to find it.It worked good while I was driving, a little distracting though
  9. Yeah, can't really see why the 11 button one gets that signal though, unless it makes it easier to retrofit the full obc?
  10. 1) I was playing around with mine the other day and noticed when I change the date format from 'mm/dd' to 'dd/mm' that it also changes the time format from 12hr to 24hr clock, even though there is a seperate option for this also? Anyone else done this with theirs? 2) Also found that function 41 is a digital speedo? very cool, but none of the normal functions (memo, external temp, check control etc.) would use anything to do with the speed?
  11. it's nz new and in fairly good condition, could do with a wash though. Visit My Website Drives fairly good too, heaps better than my e36
  12. Is it a genuine one? Am keen, postage might be a problem though...
  13. Those look awesome man!! nice buy

I would think they would be the same for most? Could check part numbers on realoem to check though.
  16. I've got the 11 button OBC, would that be good enough?

    FS: E36 320i

Hey guys, Might be selling my car Have spotted another car that I am rather hoping to invest in. Not sure that I will be able to afford both. 1997 320i sedan -Individual series, loads of extras from factory -Just clicked over 200,000kms -Avus Blue -Motorsport bodykit -Motorsport suspension -Motorsport interior (seats, steering wheel and alcantara headliner) -Clear lights all round -16" style 32 wheels -everything is original and still there (radio included) -only additions are eyelids and an ///M badge on the boot (didn't do either) Has had a front end respray (bumper, nose panel, second hand bonnet and guards) a few months ago Have had no issues with it in the year(almost) that I have owned it. The bad: -Jatco jerk from first to second (Is fine if you use the snow mode) -rear bumper is the non-motorsport type Would ideally be looking for about $6000 - $6500 Am I dreaming? Feedback on price would be awesome. Pics:
  18. Yeap, 180kW < 210kW, and its been done plenty before Welcome to BS
  19. might as well get an m5 for that price
  20. how much do you want for them?
  21. I'd have to disagree. Have been for a ride in two e39s (one 535, one 540) that had straight pipes instead of the cats and stock everything else, and they seemed to be fine?
  22. There are about four tabs on the back side of it, holding it on. One trick Phil figured out was to put bits of a plastic card (something similar to a credit card maybe). like this:
  23. M60 V8s without cats sound awesome, main reason for owning a V8 would be to hear that noise.....They sound awesome at 6000rpm aswell.
