I know I know, you will probably all say "your car has 342k on the clock, what can you expect"? but id like to ask for advice anyway So in the last day or two the old fella has seemed to be getting a bit sluggish. The main thing i notice is it feels like it missfired (gives a slight bunny hop feeling when driving along) also it starts loosing power at 4-5k revs when it never used to. When i bought it, it ticked and that is probably the cam shaft am i right? but i thought i would wait until i could afford a new engine rather than fix this one. Just wondering if anyone has come across this and could let me know if it could be a large problem or maybe just the spark plugs or something Cheers

two of them are HDR. I don't think the stance would look the same if the tyres were facing left Mark next shoot needs to be on a summers day tbh. the sky makes these dull.

alright, this takes to long lol. Here are a few more. didn't realize how huge the E28 actually was... p.s, not actually that happy with most of these
-
there are some very good reasons here as to why you should stick with E28s

I can definately say the image mark posted is identical, so if that's zender then i'm pretty sure its zender. I did check for stamps but can't find a thing. (unless its on the inside)

Heya, I'm interested in finding a front kit for my E28, have done a fair bit of research and have found a few kits i like from Alpina, Hartge for example. But what i'm most interested in is figuring out what kit is on there at the mo. I have looked around but have no clue. Any ideas? It would be cool to find a matching front. Cheers.

something wrong with my engine then

5.7kpl that was me in my new E28, so i drove like a crazy fool. And now i have learned the lesson that $115 a week for petrol is just not gonna work i have begun to drive more economically
-
its terrible mate! thats 5.7ks per litre cost me $115 in a week lol. my 1983 323 did 28mpg haha
-
speaking of economy, i just found out my bma does a wopping 16.1mpg! FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU that's 13.4 in US gallons

as long as i can prevent any further damage i'm happy. the screw in the second pic is missing because the fitting thread on the light has been broken, maybe that let some in. there was water filling the side lens, so much so i only noticed it when some drained out and i could see the water level :/ i have cleaned it all up and siliconed the sh*t out of it so lets hope for the best. ill keep the boot linings off to keep an eye on it. missing screw: water filled lens: cleaned up (might cut the rust out when i can)
-
o.k, so i'm in deep now! so to speak. here is what i have found...looks like the seals around the left tail light have failed and no one cared to have a look why water was getting in their boot. i knocked over my beer to top things off

the text is not quite uniform to say the least

basically, follow these steps painfully slowly and carefully... wash (standard car wash) -> dry (lint free towels) -> run clay over entire car with soap and water (slow but worth it) -> rinse -> polish -> buffer (we hand buffered) -> wax -> buffer it took 2 of us 5 hours so it's an indication of how detailed u should be next time you wash go over the car with detailer. this stuff :

Far out those rims are hot blackie!

I didn't realize he was so anal about it, showing up with 26 micro-fiber towels, each for a different purpose "I don't know why people don't look after their bloody cars" he said while buffering the polish what a sunday haha.
