  1. Minus the skids? Damn, wish I didnt have 3 different projects going atm then I'd be jumping at this! Looks hot! Did you swap this for your Turbo E30 you were building? Why cant you have This + a Wagon?
  2. Havent seen this in person, but seen it around and it looks damn hot. Hope the next owner looks after it like you have.
  3. I take it that FL taillight seals wont fit? Cos they could be cut down if they are just too long? I have a pair of near mint (no rips or holes) for a FL.
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3L69ts89SvM...feature=related 0:13 is f--king funny and that lady almost killed too... WTF SWAT people are these?!
  5. As no one told me, Im not sure if anyone even knew of this. But on the actual regulator, there is a small rubber grommet - pop that off theres a hexkey hole - put hexkey in and turn it - window then goes UP & DOWN. So if you got no battery OR the regulators blown OR door is not connected/removed from the car - then this is the only/easiest way to remove windows/regulators.
  6. Am trying to remove the window regulators and all the other mechanisms from my E30 doors (all 4) - then remove the windows. Have undone the bolts but cant seem to figure out how to remove it all from the door. Is there a how-to somewhere on here or the Net? Have searched Google but no such luck - everything is false (not even for the E30 and not even what I need to know!) Help!?
  7. I make plastic TufDeck Liners for 4x4s/Ute (whatever you wanna call them) - I am the Team Leader (Supervisor). Not as easy as you'd think. I've been there nearly 5years & seen about 20 people come & go from my department - bunch of nancy softc--ks. Alot of people on here probably couldnt hack it (have seen some big men be turned into girls doing my job). Our Liners get shipped out all over the World. Our biggest customer is Saudi (the richest bastard in the world). Then Dubai and Aussie. We sell them within to NZ and fit them at the factory too. If you've seen a liner with "TUFDEK" on it - I gaurantee we made it. Place has only just started to get back into hardout work again (were using a slow old machine). The new machine is Bigger & Faster, = more product = more $ = hopefully (fingers x'ed) PAYRISE. But with a Mortgage & other Bills, I'm left with f--k all each week. Looking at looking for new Job but I'm secure atm so not gonna budge until the economy starts moving again.
  8. Im the opposite of the BMW collectors. My room is full of Ford stuff. Even a Ford picnic kit lol never been used though, just bought for the hell of it. No BMW collectors items. Only my E30
  9. Glenn will lock it soon no doubt, got the answer I wanted. Just wanted to know if theres any demand for these tanks which by looks, there isnt so in the scrap pile it goes. CLOSED
  10. Mine says 60 is 57 so mine is only 3ks out
  11. Thats why I was asking if its worth the parts or not. If no demand for them, then I'll chuck it into my scrap pile.
  12. Its a bit easier to give advise nicely than to tell some to burn their sh-t. Thats just asking for it. Also put in my ad consider swaps for other seats or buckets (my $300 is cheaper than the other set on TM which are way worst). But even if I did get these repaired cheap I'd still sell - I'd rather front buckets or black. Just wanted to see if these could be repaired or not. Simple... Dont need people telling me to go burn my sh-t.
  13. Was going to scrap wholething, but when I was going to replace the side bottle on my 318i radiator, it wasnt gonna be cheap so went for a whole brand new unit. Think it was around $160-$220 for just side bottle replacement (so not worth it). So thought may be worth selling the tanks as spares/replacements cos they look all good - cheaper than brand new. Any clues what its from though?
  14. See photo. radaitor is fooked but the bottles seem fine. Is it worth taking them off & selling or just scrap the hole thing? Or sell it complete for the bottles? Not sure what its off either - anybody know? Honest opinions please. Im either scrapping it or take bottles off & scrap.
  15. Ok sweet as. Might have a look thru the net & phone books, see if anyone local does it. Sounds logical to me - but will depend on prices
  16. Who and Where? May be worth a shot.
  17. Wow. Where did I say swap for MINT leather? Saying swap means Im happy to look at any options. I've seen a set on Trademe for I think its $400 and the drivers is f--ked worst than mine - theirs is actualy torn up. So Im not the dreamer. Would even consider swapping the lot for 2 bucket seats - once again SETTLE DOWN. Am happy to consider anything. Wish people wouldnt jump to conclusions all the time...
  18. I was thinking to buy some very tight fitted covers, but before I do anything, will see if anybody out there wants to swap for Black. Otherwise covers it may be - or recover completely.
  19. Funny... NOT. Heres some photos of the seats. A mate reckons he knows a lady that can retrim seats for cheap & good at it - will look into that. Otherwise, anybody interested in swapping for Black Leather seats? Rear seat is for Coupe but fits Sedans. The door trims are black which have been painted to look Tan. Can chuck them in with the swap if wanted. If anybody keen to swap, Id rather you come look first, as photos dont show how bad they really are. Still usable but not mint. Drivers is the worst though.
  20. Yeah but does that get rid of the crazy cracks? From what I see, that helps stop it from starting in the first place - not reverse it.
  21. I'll try find some. Otherwise, how hard it be to dye it black without them fading?
  22. Am getting Paulies E30 tomorrow (we sussed a deal) so am looking at restoring the Tan Leather seats. They have what looks like crazy cracks (not rips or tears, just very small thin cracks). So was wondering if there is an easy way to do it? Not interested in retrimming them. Any suggestions? Will put up photos tomorrow.
  23. Now thats what you call a 'Spot Clean'. You wouldnt see valet cleaners doing that. Would make your car last a lot longer too as it wont rust. I always clean inside my rear arches when I wash the car cos thats a bad area for rust, especially when full with mud n stones (I also do it when washing the my Mums & my Mrs cars).
