Yeah, had to grind a few of the tabs and couldnt figure out how the factory clips would hold it, so had to screw a few tabs and cable tie the rest. Will do for now.

Just need to give car a good wash and take some better photos.

All fitted and painted.

I think mine is broken off or half worn down as mine only flicks back 30% of the time. I just have a habit of flicking it off myself.

Thats how I see it, making people drive slower makes it more frustrating. Especially if there is no passing lanes and/or all lanes are full & slow. Went out back ways of cambridge yesterday to my partners brothers sons 2nd bday. The roads were empty due to being roads that take you to farms only, not highways or anything. Was awesome, drove at 120-130k and no worries cos nice roads, no traffic, sunny day & no cops (my partners primera, not my E30). As soon as we got back on to highways, 90ks... STUPID! Got to Tamehere straight and this idiot (all the way from Cambridge was going 80-90) then sped up to 110 at Tamahere... was a young guy, so I flew past, then done it to him (80-90, about 3 times) then stayed at 110 (see how he likes it). Then he went flying past me, about 160ks. Idiots like him are what cos crashes. And that was my exciting day driving yesterday.

Why do you think the door pods need work to fit them - what kind of work? Are they replicas? I Could be keen to come have a look today or Monday (Im in Hamilton)...

Or go to a workshop that has one of those headlight testers. Last WOF I done they had one and allowed me to adjust my light while using their light tester then passed the WOF.

Is this one classed as skill with recklessness or just plain recklessness with no skills? Opinions?

I just drive at 110. Have gone past plenty of cops in both my E30 & my Mrs Primera wagon at 105-110 and they didnt turn around. I think you may find a minority of the cops dont care and want to hit real speeders. I also find when Im in 80k zones I get away with 85-90. All of this was from the last time they had this rule (Queens BDay).

Thanks to bmrmad (Hans/Dutchy), I now have a E30 iS Front Lip Fibreglass replica. These photos are just of it "dummy/demo" fitted for the photos. Is not officially fitted yet. Just trying to get the tabs to clip on properly, then will be painting it black. Will update photos when done. Just need sideskirts and something for the rear, and she be good... then yes, Paintjob, one day

Bought one of the fibreglass iS lips off bmrmad today. Tried fitting it, but ran out of day light so will try finish tomorrow or when I get more time. Photos up when done.

Do they have to be euro style? Do they do normal sizes (eg direct replacements for the ones NZ use)?

They are a big heavy, so they'd possibly cause the front to drop a bit I think there was bullbars on that E30 that was posted up a while ago, that was used off road?
