  1. Am trying to remove the brake & clutch pedals from the E30 I am parting out (will be for sale when removed if anyone wants it). Have searched Google but no luck and searched BS but nothing relavent. Anyone able to explain or send me somewhere with a diagram? Have taken out a few bolts and its sort of lose, and Im sure I know whats left but need to double check. Any help be good?!
  2. Wicked. Could pass as an a/m item (from a dealer).
  3. OMG. Once again, everybody has to have their say if somethings worth selling or what something is worth. If people wanna sell something, leave it - if people dont want it it wont sell, if someone does, it will sell!! Its not your job to tell the seller what the parts are worth or if even worth anything. Thats why I dont list on here anymore
  4. Yep fully agree. They are also good quality too. Best photo I have atm

My fuel gauge sometimes flicks up to full when I go over bumps (I never fill it up though) and it stays there. I simply bang the speedo and it will go back down. As for the brake lights, no idea--but you could unplug them? Mine dont work & have passed 3 wofs so far.
  6. Haha! Not bad for my POS though. Cant complain for bog standard 1.8 4cyl with a non-lsd diff. More practise I should get better... I dont exactly go to skid pads every weekend.
  7. Something for you Touring boys.
  8. One word. "Karma" Whoever did it, theres will be coming.
  9. Still waiting for a reply to my PM asking for his PayPal details.
  10. The rear was way above the limit (if you have 3 people in the back, it will sack it hard). The front was also above limit, but my sump was 110mm off the ground (not sure how much heavier the 2.5 is compared to the 1.8) but the sump is not structural so they cant fail you for it. But I dont even know if the 2.5s have an ugly low sump like the 1.8s? But if it is, then a sump gaurd is recommended cos you will smash it (I done mine once & a 2nd time I put a small hole in it.) Any E30 gurus - please feel free to advise. But, yeah it shouldnt be too much lower than what mine was. EDIT: Can always put rubber spring spacers in the front too - which is meant to help raise it a bit (depends how thick you get). Can be bought from most auto shops?
  11. Just PM me your offer & we can go from there.
  12. Hey Andy Are the door trims cracking and peeling - why are they 5.5 out a 10?

    Awesome tips

The PIN thing cant work for ALL cards. For example if your PIN is 4774 then thats forward & backwards - cant do no emergency for that. Otherwise, the rest sound sweet.
  14. This is with it on 17s. Dont have any decent photos with it on the 14s but they sat at about the same as the 17s.
  15. OMG people cant take sarcasm? Maybe I should've used the sarcasm font...forgot it existed. Im a Ford fan, so of course Im gonna give a Holden s--t. No harm intended. My workmate has a Commy which is a piece, and yes I know my E30 isn't Gold but I still give him sh-t about his cos its fun, he gives me sh-t too - no harm either way.
  16. Nick021 done a GB a while ago. Maybe if enough interest he may do another? Were about $50 include post, I think it was...? Long ago now, cant remember exactly. and they were plastic eyelids - full length, not half like the 'glass versions.
  17. What a piece lol Scrapyards are paying good atm? If you were local I might have known someone who'd be keen for a skid hack. But a bit too much of a drive from Hamilton.
  18. No idea on age sorry. I bought them about a year ago-ish. And no numbers or markings to prove brand, so I just assume Jamex. No gaurantees though. Your 318i will sit like mine did but the 325i will probably drop a bit more in the front due to a heavier engine.

    E30 Coupe Shell

Whats up with the front guards? And the bit missing out the rear?

    Nice Lips for $10

They are said to fit all BMWs? Just trim to fit, is my understanding?
  22. My list, not in order. Oil & Filter. Diff Seals & O-Rings. Paint. Suspension Overhaul. Minor Rust. Get Reverse Lights working. Rear Spring Pads. Window Tints. Put new bonnet on. Get carpet dried & shampooed (maybe uplift and look for rust). Get engine & bay steam cleaned/soda blasted. List goes on...
  23. Full set. They are red so assume they are Jamex (not sure of any other brand that is red). Lowered my E30 318i sedan about 35/40mm (the front 14"s had a small gap between the guards & tyres & the rear gaurds were sitting just on the tyres) - no rubbing. Paint on them is pretty rough but other wise, they are sweet. Not cut or compressed or anything. Direct replacements for your standard springs (these are captive - passed WOFs with ease). Best offer around $200-$300 can have them.
  24. OK, a bit confusing but I'll figure it out... a bit wet to do anything yet, will do when it dries up (if it does). Thanks guys.
