2x 2L milk = $5.60 at my local dairy (and a few others around Hamilton) that = $1.40 p/L. So Tony is not exagerating. Unless some of you buy the expensive Milk which is no different to the Dairys cheap stuff (milk is milk). And even though our fuel may look cheaper than other countries, some countries have a higher wage and/or cheaper rent/tax/living costs etc to begin with. EG Aus - an old workmate from Aus said he got paid twice what he did at my job (same hours) and the fuel was a little bit more but there other living expenses werent as bad as ours so they werent affected as badly by fuel costs. Everytime their Taxes/GST goes up, their wages usually increased also (would depend what job you had I spose though).

Factory Fog Lamps I dont see any fog lamps? Unless reverse lights are classed as fog lamps?
-
And I hear post costs for them is way too excessive. Am also looking for one, but no one local
-
WTF is all I got to say. And the tails just look rotten. Edit: its local, but I've never seen around...maybe they too embarrased to drive it? And time for a change - maybe cos you get laughed at?!
-
Saw that ages ago, but everytime I watch I cant help but laugh.... and the other person just sits there watching on the other forklift

Umm, me and my mates do it on private land (so nothing stupid there - all legal)...I dont carry passengers and I keep my doors closed & seatbelt on at all times - dont see how that video can relate to me in anyway?
-
Oh how the f--k can you do that? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQy9AKxXuc0
-
If done properly it should be all good. When my mates bogged up & painted my car, the bog in the badge hole fell out cos the idiots didnt sand it to bare metal - bogged ontop of paint - so had no chance to last.

Looks mint as. Mean score. Glenn does servicing on BMWs.

Hamilton still the same (well in my suburb anyways). Rain, sun, rain, sun, rain, sun (when it rains is pours) but when sunny its hot. Do what I can outside, in between showers lol. Some thunder last night. And windy as f--k all day & all night.

I dont know. Its what the muffler man said. Coby or Resonator? I dont know the difference, thats why I went to a shop. Can you get mufflers that go in the middle of the system? Not changing the tip, as I already stated in OP.
-
Hamilton been on/off rain all day and the odd bit of sun. Nothing too hectic though (not stormy) just rain & soft wind...

Whats the diff between fluted & non-fluted? How much?

Looking at getting a new Coby or Resonator for my E30 318i exhaust system. Am wanting to try quieten it down a bit but I want to keep my a/m eurostyle muffler. The current resonator is old & rusty (you shake it & can hear inside is all crumbled etc). My question is, what would be best - noise wise? Not looking for power (1.8 engine, so no point). Is a Coby or Res' best to help try quieten it? A guy at a muffler shop gave me a quote (not going to indulge in the price) but cant remember if was for Coby or Res' but price included everything - but no gaurantees it would work. Opinions & Suggestions on what to pick?

Click the makers name and he has done heaps. Gotta have a good sense of humour.

Worst part is, you hit them & you will be charged with it. NZ Law for ya.

And I've never looked under the bonnet of an SA model... Cheers

Never seen a metal airbox from factory. Can you put a photo up?

His intake piping is rubber hoses? First time I've seen that. And only 3 in NZ? I assume he means, 3 f--ked up e30 wanna be turbos? 3 that didnt quite make it.

Yep. Every WOF inspection sheet requires the Horn to work and it must be a beep not musical. I failed once cos mine didnt work (had a bad earth, had to push the wheel same time so put the A/M wheel on - problem solved)... Whys that?
-
They are on Trademe for $50. I bought one ages ago & its fit perfect.
-
They look cheap & very flimsy. Had a look while I waited for the guy to find my oil filter. I would not pay $50 for one, maybe $25 but not $50. Very thin plastic and looks like its been made by the thousands so they have done it with cheap crap plastic. Would easily rip (crack) if you were just a Tiny bit rough with it.
