Yeah he snapped these up quickly for $300 so a good profit to be made for some e21 recaros - just need to replace the headrests
-
I have had the above in both my e46 and e30 for the last 2 years and has never come loose once.
Is a very tight fit around the prongs so doesn't wiggle around at all
-
Was good to meet you @Sammo looking forward to the development of your beautiful coupe
And great to see so many other variations of e30's out there

205 will be fine - had 205 on 8.5's and were barely stretched.
225's will be excessive i have them on my 9/9.5's and they are very large - you will see on saturday at the drury meet
Nice choice on the wheels though - ive been looking at them also as an extra set of wheels

Hey Guys,
Im looking for the below switch to retrofit an auxiliary fan switch - came in both e28 and early e30's - 2x prong switch
https://www.eeuroparts.com/Parts/50958/Foglight-Switch-61311380352/
If someone's got one would be a great help and save me installing a crappy aftermarket switch.
Thanks

Just curious, what type of custom clutch and flywheel set up did you go with for both? And where did you source them?
Reason for asking is i recently did a clutch in an e31 that is factory manual/m60’ Went from a DMF to a single flywheel setup and not quite happy with the amount of shudder it now has.
cheers
Sorry to hi-jack but if you do decide to ditch the setup i'd possibly be interested in taking it off your hands. For a 6 speed box?

On the hunt for a RH M60 valve cover, wanting to refurbished a spare set so I can just swap them over.

How does it wire up to the interior lights, does that need to be added in as well?
There is a factory wiring loom that runs along the roof cavity and down the A pillar into the passenger footwell where there is a factory plug to plug it into.
Pretty seamless and easy to install.
GLWS brother!

I work for easysteel. We supply it, have to buy 2400x1200 sheets though

The power steering lines are pretty straight forward.
I made mine for the v8. only one is a high pressure hose - cut the factory fittings from the hoses and measured the length/path i wanted it to take and had hydraulink crimp the ends onto the correct hose for about $80.
The other 2 are lower pressure lines so some braid line with hose clamps works well
Nice work on the build - a little jealous of the style 32's

I would also be interested in contact details to see if he is able to have a look at my e30 cluster

A bit of write up on it from the builder

Theyve built some nice vehicles

Hey Guys,
On the hunt for something new for the e30.
After some 17x8-9.5 BBS LM or ARC-8 - ideally offset 30 or lower.
Interested to see what's out there....

This will help you do exactly what you want and at half the price. I'd say you would need to run an aftermarket ECU to get the benefits of them

I did see some today on the world of facebook that uses grub screws to bolt them into the hub rather than that separate for one of the studs, trying to locate the post now
If you use instagram his user name is @e30Europarts or if you use facebook they were posted on the r3vlimited page

What are these worth these, I've been trying to find one for a while but it seems they've binned or no longer work.
So looking overseas but seems expensive for a radio?

Hey Guys,
I'm on the hunt for some E65 style 94's if anyone's got some floating around or knows of some available let me know.
Cheers

I Have a set of style 66's (17x8 and 17x9) with bridgestone potenza re003's if interested

I would check wiring to the dme and usual wire into the light switch, i dont believe they are plug and plug, i am looking at doing the same for my e46 and even though they are wired it does still look like you need to do a little bit of wiring to get it all to work.

Nice work man.
The e30 recaro seat adapter brackets are definetly the way to go with the seats as the headaches with tunnel mounting your buckles and passing cert is a nightmare. Definetly do it.
Good to see you jumped on board with the SRS bushes, the only way to correct it enough to get it centered.
Looks like you making some good progress man. Should be a weapon

If you want quality that works and happy to pay the $$$ manawatu mufflers will make you what ever you want and its good quality stuff, just costs a little bit, but have one on my v8 e30 and couldnt be happy with the sound and volume

Hi Team,
I am currently looking to retire my e46 with the way fuel price's are going and it just being a daily motorway commuter pretty much the fuel consumption on the M54 is quite high - around 12l/100km
So currently looking at the F20 series 118i/120i (alternative is a golf), dont need a big car as we use my wife's car for all the general running around.
Is there really any difference between the 2 other than a little bit of power/torque?
Is there anything to look out for with these cars? Any benefits/disadvantages between the N13 & the B38 in the LCI.
Any advice/info would be great
Thanks Guys
