  1. I'm not sure, I had them on my old e30 and yeah I suppose they didn't last long but they're a really good tyre, really grippy in nearly all conditions and yeah they look and stretch nice
  2. Ha I hope you're not offended by how it is now!
  3. They came up quite nice, they aren't the straightest set of wheels but they aren't bad. Banged my newly acquired roof bars on too, just need a snowboard now and I'm ready! Also I anyone has 2 bike adapters for roof bars I'd be interested
  4. Yeh went with 215's on the rear, it catches on the rear guards if there's is any more than the driver in there but the plan is to roll out the guards just enough and dial the camber back a bit as the rear camber is a bit too much stance nation at the moment! Front fitment is perfect and without issue! Didn't really enjoy stretching the 205's onto the 8.5 rim though : s
  5. Got them fitted! Took longer than I thought to paint them etc but props to my mate Eric for the mates rates! Fitted them this morning and maxed the rear camber. Mega happy : D
  6. Yeah they were just on red for the picture, they look surprisingly good on green but I don't think you'd get away with that either
  7. Just cheap ebay ones dude. If you want a decent looking set you probably wouldn't be into them. They're really good quality but there's no light diffuser infront of the individual LED's so you can see each individual one, I quite like them that way but you'd no way pass them off as OEM
  8. I love mine, they're only cheap ones though and it's all personal preference. They're the ones that you can have any colour you want. I've got them set on a nice yellow to match my now yellow fogs. Looks awesome at sunset/in the evening
  9. I've known them to flood before for no obvious reason? It's highly possible that isn't the issue but for free it's worth a go, if you've checked the compression I'm guessing you've already had the plugs out? Leave them out over night or if your in a rush, (this is pretty unconventional but I've done it before and it works) put the plugs on a tray in a warmish oven (doesn't need to be hot you just need to warm the plugs through so that the fuel won't settle on them). Then install them into the engine and give it a go like normal. Like I say it could be any other number of things but I'd give that a go from what you've described. Cheers, Tom
  10. http://store.uucmotorwerks.com/mobile/systemu-exhaust-for-92-99-e36-3-series---dtm-tips-p44.aspx Cheers for the heads up dude, I WOULD have been interested in one of these if it didn't have DTM tips on it : s
  11. Hey guys cheers for the input! Yeh I know you shouldn't really mess with things that are obviously there for a reason, but at the same time I can't see any reason that it is there for other than to draw air through the rad while the engine is at idle in traffic. So whenever you're moving it's pretty much redundant in my theory? So if you were to lower the temp at which the electric fan cuts in, surely that would be doing the exact same job as what the viscous fan does without the parasitic drag? I might try it and see how it goes seen as it's winter and cold as f*ck anyway : D
  12. Had a quick look and couldn't see anything that had been discussed before (I am a bit retarded though so there might well be). But anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has ever just removed their viscous fan and had any overheating issues? I know the proper way to do it is to fit a lower temp thermostat, temp sensor and beefier electric fan etc. I've worked on loads of cars where the fan clutch isn't even doing anything anymore as it's so old and never locks up, most don't seem to have any issues at the time (not sure if any damage is being done due to slightly higher temps in the long run though). Anyway I've got an m52b28, I've got a/c so it's got an auxiliary fan which works and was just pondering the idea!
  13. What the hell is in that?!?!? I need to own a car at some point that does the whole ' bang and flame exhaust thing '
  14. That's one of the best things I've seen that doesn't have boobs
  15. Bawbags the lot of them! Sounds like everyone has been involved in it one way or another, so the one thing you can take away from it is that you aren't alone in the trouble and strife : D I've calmed down now, all is well
  16. Right I understand that this is a first world problem and that people make mistakes but it still pisses me off. I try and choose the widest most out of the away park that I can so that people stay the hell away from my car and I don't have to get upset when they hit it. Just came back to my car and found a streak of maroon paint in a stripe along the side of my rear bumper and rear wheel where whoever was next to me has reversed out and 'grazed' my car. Hopefully it'll polish out and come off, but basically my point is that I wish people would realise that just because they don't care about their car, doesn't mean that a car next to them isn't someone else's pride and joy. It happened to me on the side of a mountain once in a quiet car park when me and some friends were out walking! Anyway there's food on the table and everyone I know is happy and alive so rant over : )
  17. F*ck the haters! I dunno man it all blows my mind, loads of the rules are left to interpretation (grey areas) and it just depends if the police/wof guys want to be a bell end on the day I recon. I don't understand how it can fail a Wof if it's been certed though, or is it wound down a little below cert height : p ?
  18. Looks cool, plus it's got roof racks, so double cool
  19. If you've got run flats fitted to your car and you get a slow puncture (a small nail for example), then you get a slow and gradual loss of pressure. The car lets you know fairly quickly that you have a flat and you generally have plenty of time to find a tyre shop. Opinions differ from tyre manufacturer to tyre manufacturer, but if the tyre hasn't lost much pressure and there hasn't been excessive heat build up in the sidewalls (causing weakening of the rubber or delamination of the layers) then it's safe to repair the tyre to the same guidelines you would a normal tyre. If you lose all pressure and have to drive 80k's then obviously the tyre is goosed, I've seen tyres that have been driven over 100k's + totally flat and the central section of the tread has come away from the inner sidewall due to the heat and friction cutting through the rubber. Generally I think they're a good idea but if you're going into no mans land it's always reassuring to have a spare. : )

Looks awesome! Red was a good choice for the centre caps, looks mint with them fitted
  21. I always wanted a Legacy Wagon E-Tune back in the UK as they were fairly rare and look pretty awesome in a subie wagon way! But now I'm out here everyone has them!!!! I'd still have one though, no idea what they're like reliability wise though : s
  22. I'd like to buy a silicone hose kit that includes every cooling hose on the e36 328 as mine are all showing signs of age/ready to go kaboom. It's all the little ones under the inlet manifold going to the head/throttle/heater valve etc that look the most shady. Can't find one anywhere, going to have to buy them all individually at the dealer I think : s
