I have run different tyres front and rear for years, its not a big deal if the tyres have similar performance specs. -

Bridgestone S001 is available in 255/40/17 its a good tyre. -
In the end I ordered an ER pipe from Extreme Power House in Vegas. Good price and not too bad on shipping. Once I get that installed and finish off replacing the vacuum hoses hopefully I can run an MHD tune.

The yanks rave about ethanol, sadly i never see for sale in Wellington. With your wedge tune did you have to send them any data or was it off the shelf? Also does the tune adapt based on the level of ethanol?

Perhaps set it up as a poll so it works in real time.
-
Funnily enough it's not happening any more.

Don't fight it just go with it.

Ok last shot $5000 with new control arms. Last chance before I offer it to the great unwashed on Tard Me.

It just had a service at Gazely so hopefully that was checked. EPS not sure about that, but it does have a particulate filter but as the wife does longer runs it should get hot enough to clean itself.

As far as I am aware 95 was the end of OBD1 and everything I have read says M44 was an OBD2 engine only. Next Sunday would be ok.

So my wifes company car cane up for renewal and the company politely insisted she take the cash and buy a car. After looking a at 1 and 3 series cars I came across an Octavia at Turners. It was a 2011 1.6TDI with DSG. KM's were higher at 149 but it was NZ new with a service history. Anyway long story short we got it for 7K. It's based on the Mk5 Golf and the chassis is not too bad for a FWD but that little 1.6TDI is a winner. Enough power for daily driving and the DSG is the basic lower torque 7 speed but combined they work really well; you are always in the right gear and the economy is quite amazing. It is a bread and butter car but for 7k I think it's a winner so far.

I like the reviews on the ER pipes any thoughts on best place to buy one from?
-
I will throw in a new pair of front control arms (Meyle HD) $500 value for the buyer.
-
Ok I want it sold $500
-
Ok last chance before it goes to the wreckers $400
-
No it has both just not sure why its not running. Trying to do things remotely from Wellington is difficult. To be honest if it was back in Welly I would keep it as the 318is has the same brakes as a 328i.

To upset you

Yes all tyres are under 6 months old.
