It all depends on what youre going to use it for. I have a Nexus One and love it. Can do everything and more than an iphone right out of the box and if I want to satisfy my developer nature I can do that too. Its my ipod, satnav, internet and phone all in one.

HB fella. I like the look of that touring

They are not the same as these are they Tony ? Trademe

I hear what youre saying Tony, but how many good people have left because of muppets like Mitch ?I argued for him to be banned after his previous misdemeanour's but it fell on deaf ears. Makes you wonder about the direction Bimmersport has taken doesnt it when people like Mitch are allowed to continue having a presence here and yet I can be banned for wanting to get rid of them.

When they upgrade you to HDi its likely they will also upgrade your dish to a quad LNB. Its only future proofing and you get no real benefit from it unless like me you have an HTPC aswell and want to get the SBS channels from Aussie. But ultimately I think you should be able to use the HDi STB at both places. A DVB-S STB will only set you back $50-$75 on TM and a little more will get you one which will record to a USB drive too. It will take all of ten mins to plug it in and have freeview through the existing Sky dish. DVB-S is not HD in the same way as DVB-T, but with your old LG you wont notice much, if any, difference

Garage door actually !Nice car to buy. Chipped and mapped properly they are putting out close to m3 figures arent they ?
-
Nice one Jon, you know I looked at the surrounding houses and immediately knew it wasnt over here ! I was just cruising through ebay earlier....its amazing how cheap cars like this are over there now.

Anyone know if this is possible ? e38's had a third 3-point seat belt as a cheap optional extra but no-one took them up on it. Jeff Gray laughed at me when I tried them a while back to see if they could order the kit for me. What Im thinking of is putting a third belt in the back of an e34 touring but dont know if its possible.

European Leather Care, Scholes Lane in Petone. They did some work on my e38 and it was immaculate. There is always the option to just buy another interior

Oli, Ive got a couple of old cd changers if you want to try another one. One is in pieces from an e30, the other is one from an e32/e34 which was working fine but has been out of a car for a while now. Flick me a PM if you want to try them.

Some friends of mine want to buy an e46 touring. The budget is 10k possibly a little more for the right car and it needs to be clean as a whistle as they intend to keep it for the forseeable future as the family grows. I dont know alot about the e46, so does anyone have any pointers ? Does anyone know of any for sale in Wellington ? He says he would be happy with a 318 with no toys or leather, but he talks about his dad back in SA with his two e12 535m's with a twinkle in his eye so perhaps something a little bigger would fit the bill. An e39 touring is not completely out of the question either but I know those inside out already.

In sterling silver but both have scratches and dents in them. Free in return for a dozen beers if you can collect from Wellington and want to try the 'rat' look by just rusting them. Just want them gone from the garage.
-
Im no fan of the e36 shape, but that is smart and you deserve plenty of credit to get it looking as good as it does.

Have a proper look at the drains for the sunroof too. The e39 has nothing covering the drain holes (unlike the little 'floats' on an e38) so all sorts of rubbish can get down there and block them. I assume the e39 has drains down the back in the same way as the e38 and when they get blocked the water can often spill down c pillar into the rear footwell. If they are blocked you should take the time to sort out the front drains as well. In fact there is no reason why it cant be a problem with the front drains either. When you lift the carpet up you may find water in the front too and as Glenn says you need to get it sorted. There are a multitude of sensors under there (airbag sensors in particular) which dont take kindly to being immersed in water.
