Was out of a Japanese car but has the radio converted to NZ bandwidth, the language changed to English and the software updated. Thats as far as I got with it as I fixed mine and don't need this one anymore

Cic head unit $SOLD Out of an e90 3-series. Tested and works perfectly. Sorry but I'm not willing to assist with an installation or coding.

So I booked the car in for the blower connector recall in a couple of weeks and while I was there asked about fixing the cic. The tech said all they would do is connect it to ista-p and let it do it's thing. I've already done that and it won't touch it. He also said I couldn't "have" an ICOM unit. Weird ?. Anyone out there with an ICOM????? Surely!! Car is an e90 335d btw

Yeah the whole car is Ethernet in the f-series. I've got every other program working. Flashed with winkfp and ista-p. Really should not have tried flashing the cic through k+dcan though lol

I've got ALL the cables haha. I'd read that the cic is wired for Ethernet after a certain year and and it looks like mine is but I can't get it to connect.

Does anyone have the BMW ICOM setup that I can rent for a fee? I have a CIC here that needs recovering and I'm trying to avoid spending 400 bucks for a one time job. I'm in Chch.

Ive got a whole bunch of parts from a turbo project that I've decided to kick to the kerb. Cometic m5x 0.140" MLS headgasket- Brand new, still in its wrapping $250 Mild steel m5x turbo manifold flange- Bought from another failed turbo project, brand new $100 850cc Ebay injectors- Bought off Ebay from an Australian store, supposedly have Bosch EV1 cores, brand new $300 Located in Christchurch, but I'm happy to ship. Chasing a 3 litre stroker kit, preferably just the crank + rods and pistons but happy with a whole engine with a rooted head or similar. Located in Christchurch. I can only find complete running engines for circa 2 grand which is a tad cost prohibitive. @HELLBM are out of stroker kits at the moment. I did find an m54b30 from an e46 330i with 40000kms on it though. DME to exhaust manifold for $1900. I dont think it's quite what I'm after though

On a side note, how'd you get your m50b30 together? Did you build it yourself? I'm trying to build one myself but I'm finding m54b30s a tad hard to come by and slightly cost prohibitive.

I assume you have the engine out of the car? Why not get the journal reground with new appropriately sized bearings? Want? Yes! Haha, nah I'm just trying to see what people want for one that needs a little work. I'd think 4-5k?

What's the condition of your old engine? It's not seized is it? And what's your plans with it?
