You could feel E91 chassis flexing when my friend had the 700nm Torque Performance tune in her 335d 😮

Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

Was asking $9K over Christmas / NYE then popped up for $16.5K last month on M3 wheels and with coilovers.

Might I suggest colour matching the shells to the colour of the car, ala various Porsche RS Pole Positions?

PTSL. I'm sure they've got depots in Chch and Hamilton. 6 day interisland service.

I’d be keen on it just to tuck away should you decide to sell it.

I have a sneaking suspicion desmo belts were made at the same factory the S85 bearings were (I'm still furious at myself for not hitting buy now on the last Monster s4rs Tricolore that was on TM however).

I don't truly know, but I'd say it's in reference to a convertible top being referred to as a hood? There's definitely a whole bunch of generational automotive terms like that. When I was in the trade I remember one particular panel beater giving me an absolute earful for not knowing what a quarter glass was. Clock spring is another term that comes to mind (neither a spring, nor related to clocks).

I would say almost 95% of people over 50 in the motor trade would refer to the head liner as a hood liner.

Stunning, have admired your attention to detail @outlawtorn! That's the best 130i for sale right now, no question.
Got any sound clips of the exhaust?

18x9.5 or 18x10 square setup has been the go-to on E46 M3's for a while now. As Harper alluded to, massive increase in turn in and the centre of rotation is pushed forward,.

Yep, that's the money shot. Shades of M3 GTR wheels.
Edit: @Harper does this mean there's a set of x8.5" fronts floating about?

@leichtbau Harm what are your thoughts?

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck...
It's an 87 build, so literally the earliest facelift production - the 337 mtechnic option (which incorporates all the usual M325i fruit) may simply not have been available at the time. Black headliner too:

Hansens Auto, they've been a de-facto BMW workshop for decades.

Hi team,
Does anyone know of any companies in Auckland they can recommend? Looking at getting a block dry ice blasted prior to painting and all associated aluminum pieces vapour blasted back to factory fresh.
Vapour blasting is the choice for non ferrous metals and also gives a slight shot peening effect, but are there any caveats with things like iron blocks?

It said it was sold pending payment last night. I admire the hustle to finance a 30 year old car and then make $1K a month on it.

Probably an absolute weapon if it's still got the 2.8, would need a tall diff to use the dogleg 245 though, I remember a friends Hartge 2.6 with the dogleg and a 3.73 diff was practically undriveable until 3rd.
Wonder if the $7K price increase reflects $7K worth of rust remediation? Methinks not.

Great pick up Rohan, was very tempted myself!
I really really like the Birchwood interior trim, looks sooo much better than the Jaguar-spec brown wood that kiwi new coupes seem to have been afflicted with.

B58 is a huge improvement over the N55/S55 noise for sure.
Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?

Racing Dynamics wheels too, if that's your thing.
