  1. Thanks, they dont need to be flash as I will most likely sand them back and spray them anyways.
  2. I got them in, sitting properly with out any rubbing on the centre console so im pretty happy. I just need to work on the rear seat now and it'll be a worthwhile conversion. The brackets aren't that great so I want to make a second version of them, and with any luck ill try and find someone with access to a CNC machine. (Does anyone know someone with access to one?) Will post photos by the weekend

You should post bigger pics so we can enjoy it more
  4. Awesome color, im sure most would have given up well before you did
  5. had some C*nt do this to my car today without leaving a note. Need a new pair of taillights as the previous owner had sprayed them with tint spray. Need to sort it urgently because of the rain. Not happy Also need to replace the bumper if anyone has one and pick up the top half of an e30 coupe seat. 021 746822

    Tank for Kerry.

    Wow that's amazing
  7. He can be really busy at times so dont think he is ignoring you.Best to probably give him a quick call
  8. I used a plastic scraper and some solvent, bitch of a job
  9. So i got the seats today and had a bit of a play around. The brackets that Uber 30 had made dont allow for enough space against the centre console. I've come up with a something of similar measurements as in the firs post but made attached in a fashion like Uber-30s to remove the chance of swivelling. The first set will be a mock up to get things right (and because the widest metal i could get was 50mm over the weekend) then ill try and find someone to properly cut out some brackets. I also spent some time working on the rear and figuring out how to do that. The e30 seat is in 2 pieces and the e36 comes in 4. The base section physically fits in fine but it's too much work to get the e36 to fit in properly. Im going to try and pull all the fabric off the e36 sections, sew it together and fit it over a standard e30 coupe rear seat top section, it will need some padding to be cut and added in places to get it to look consistent but i dont see this being an issue. Will post photos soon
  10. Bought new seats, going to start making brackets tomorrow and do an install
  11. Ignore my post, no longer needed thanks
  12. Metal work is not my strong point so it may be safer if i take lots of measurements/photos instead.

    Matts e30 Touring

That's a serious amount of dish on the rears. Specs?
  14. Has anyone else done it? What did they think? I've tried for ages to find a replacement for my shot e30 sports seat with no luck and it drives me insane (the recliner is broken, it doesnt slide properly, it's buckled slightly and the leather is ripped up on the bolster). The e36 comfort seats look like an easy replacement with a little work and trying to find a complete set of e30 sets in good condition is basically impossible. I've seen it done on a few different sites using a set of plate brackets.
  15. Replaced battery, ordered new 1/4 centre caps for my rs's and about to give it a clean
  16. I want to source some 1/4 height caps for my BBS RS's. Has anyone does this before and if so do you have a contact? In addition what are 4 full height caps worth second hand? Thanks in advance
  17. Stay well clear of CRS, i had a nightmare of a time with them on my old car. I cringe every tiem i see that place. Mismatched paint, prep thinners not removed properly, bubbling and pin holes, no good
  18. I have reset with a bit of wire before with no issues, seems like an unnecessary expense to get a tool to do it tbh
  19. Cool, thanks for this. I'll get under it this weekend and see if the connections are secure and see what the voltage is sitting at.
  20. It attempts to start, you can see the fan moving as it tried to crank over. Once connected to another car via jumper leads it starts with no issue at all.
  21. I figured, ill go buy a new battery and see what happens from there. Anyone got a suggestion for a good place to get a decent battery?
  22. Last night my car decided it wouldnt turn on, it would try and turn over and then nothing. This morning I had my car jump started by state and the road side assist guy said my voltage was low and to take it for a drive. I drove from the CBD out to Albany (around a 30 minute drive) and turned my car off and back on again and it wouldn't start again. My brother pulled out his volt meter and said the battery was running at around 13 volts at idle and once left off the battery was dropping voltage. I have also found it has been harder to start in the mornings. I'd say it was the battery, but I would have thought it would be able to start straight after a drive even if it isnt holding charge for long. Thanks in advance
  23. This over the car, those Ronals were sexual
