If you want effortless power,220kw and 450nm and able to load it up, buy my well priced 750il. take out the back seat and it would almost be stationwagon material and with the $$'s saved, buy another toy that option or the tourag, had a hard time keeping up to one (v10) in the 540 my 2c's marty

take it,mate

After considering the options, its probably best to move this project along. in its current state its producing over 260RWKW(354 HP)at the wheel and truck loads of torque,at 10psi boost. basically I've managed to double the HP(at the wheels) over NA cars with less then 15psi. Alot of head work has gone into this project to make it do these numbers, which equates to less then prsssure/wear on the bottem end. with more tuning and alittle more boost,I think 400hp would be very achieveable.vehicle is fitted with a 3.25LSD at present, and should perform better with a 3.64 or higher, more usable torgue and topend power etc. Knowing how well Milan is doing with his e34 entry, this would be the next level with double the power. at present with a cage its eligable to be entered in the open class. With all the work done to it its cost upwards of 26K.this is not including man hrs,so it will not be able to replicated in a drive in/out type service.(if it was,I would be rather suspect) Currently car is a Baverian Motor Works having the M5 gearbox looked at and should be back in my hands next week.if anyone's keen, your welcome to check it out there. Can give details of all the upgrades done,as i'm out of time to list now. Since being on the road with its new heart, its done less then 2000KM,this includes breaking in etc. As it is i'm thinking well worth the $23,000 i'm looking for. Schnitzer kit and wheels stay on with the car

Taken awhile to decide what to do with this car. I've really got to many projects on the go at the mo,with the e34 turbo, still at Baverian. And the e28 race car not really off to a flying start,no $$ So it's better to move this one along for someone else to enjoy over the summer-or when ever thats going to start. I'm the 4th owner.its sat for close to a year and its got 297K on the clock. alittle blue smoke on start-up,probably valve guides wear, but soon clears clean and no dreaded blue smoke when on the boil. tapets/rockers are quiet and runs fantastic.Auto shifts great, quick and sharp and doesnt have the annoying 'learning' feature.would say that has either been overhauled or service often. service sticker sayes its due at 300K,and owner made sure it was serviced every 10K,no proof thou. cruise control works.intertior is very tidy for it age,and has minimal crackin on the drivers seat. hood lining alittle saggy in the rear and has a dent on the rear shoulder above the right rear wheel passed the WOF inspection, barr the front window, which has a crack in it; have one in stock. drivers door has a dent in it; another door in stock, same colour. will sell for $$3500, or $4000 with 18" wheels. two sets to choose from, one set brand new out of the box.other just back from polishing the 15" its got are tidy and have a lot of tread(almost new),but the car will look awhole lot better on the bigger wheels cheers marty

short clip of an evo something running higher then standard boost. jump to 2min to see how a 735i with turbo additives performs. in all its boaty glory apparently 490 odd HP. and auto. 750iL twin turbo. has a nice ring to it
-
it's tidy enough, big $$ tho. mind you, give me double what he's selling the 535 for and drive away in the 537iT.double the standard hp=double the fun
-
not a fan of this shape. maybe a decade or two too early
-
great looking unit mate, cheap too.
-
as it so happens,i just bought these a while back. 750 wheels? maybe alitle bling for my liking. but 18" x 8.5 will do better then the 15' basketweaves Penry, your so right bout these trays, havnt seen any on the e32.plenty on the e38's etc. http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa128/red535t/bmwbits410.jpg ed; pic wouldnt work

well it had to happen. got offered a tidy example of the flagship (18yrs ago). picked it up on sunday and drove it back from tauranga. had been sitting for a year or so,so took a little bit of effort to start this bad boy.(stuffed battery) had to work on the memory to remember on how the reclining rear seats came out to get to the battery. idle soon smoothed out as if it had been daily driver. still very impressed with the performace of the v12. effortless hill climbs and the noise at the upper limits is something else. electric everything and it all still works, even the soft/hard suspension settings. a well maintained machine, shame really. So the big Q,strip it for parts,as the race car needs $$ thrown at it.Or fix the dent in the drivers dr(got one on the shelf) and sell to an enthusiast(its a bit big for the papakura countdown carpark,or so the wife says) twin turbo's?,endless options enjoy anyways ed;dont bother carfax'ing the plates, needing something to drive it back, although it is still reg'ed.at this stage

another great day in the shed. a hoist makes these strip jobs sooo, much eazyier.took a whole 20mins.instead of the 1-2hrs of fun. subframe removal that is.thanks Mellow Puff another e32 bites the dust. so,subframe to go.resonable tidy monro's shocks and a 4.10 med case diff. any other e32 bits, dont be shy-just ask. cheers all M
