Annual spark plug change? Why such frequency?

I Pull them each autumn to check condition before winter, if they look worn ad there's a special on i'll swap them out. a few weeks ago i did this and they looked a bit pitted, so yesterday i changed them.

One did have a bit of oil on it which i havent seen before, might be a gasket needs changing somewhere

  2. After much  drooling over a stunning e39, i've decided to keep my e46.

So got to doing annual spark plug inspection / change over, during which i noted one headlight had got some condensation from being parked outside for a week. (we are painting out kitchen too, so, many, projects)

During taking out a bulb to vent the headlight, the bulb fell out of its socket and dropped down into the engine aby / bumper / under tray area.

After a lot of  searching and removal of air filter housing and front spot light i found the little bugger in the bumper underneath the spotlight housing.....

next little project will be sorting out my moist head light, will pull apart ad check the seals...

  3. Went over the interior of my e46 with  screwdriver and tightened all the interior trim screws i could find to minimise rattling. some good results, not dsh squeaks and less random rattle in my ears whilst driving,, nearly no rattles at ll now so i'm happy..

However discovered the glove box interior has a big crack in it around one of the screw points not sure if replaceable

  5. Looks great mate, I also had some issues when I went for Alcantara shift boot and hand brake boot, went through a US company and the wrong items (and color) showed up, from Poland lol. 2 more attempts and returns had it sorted haha.

It can be a long road chasing what you want when it comes to the right parts for the right car.

  6. Not sure on exact model mate. I've had these seats in another car for a year or so, and love the balance of comfort vs support. Way more comfy than my old fixed back racing seats, and much more supportive than OEM M3 ones. Plus they look <3 in full alcantara.

They don't bolt in directly, you need aftermarket floor mounts, as well as spare seat & airbag occupancy sensors from BMW (unless you're happy to hack up your OEM seats). The added bonus of aftermarket mounts is you can interchange a variety of bucket vs reclining seats with ease.

it just so happens i do have a spare set of seat and believe the sensors are all in tact hmmm, i'd love a set of these one day...must add to list.
