If it's a computer, Mitsi will say circa $3k and can't be fixed.
I have a friend who fixes them for less than $1k from memory. If that's what it is.

Nice, barely run in too.

I thought about it, but didn't fancy asking everyone in there if they owned the BM outside, maybe we should all wear matching hats?Say hi next time I like chatting to other BMW fans!

I have that, with a wear patch in the leather, trying to figure out how/if to repair/recover it.I think the E46 wheels looks obese, much like all the E36 3 spoke airbag wheels
I hate those humongous centre sections
the only factory E36 wheel I like is this one http://www.rdautosport.com/Ebay2005/E46M3SWAB20s.jpg
I don't love it though, and would like some more options to choose from

BYF100 (db kiwi?) outside Gypsy (my local).

Bloody BMW drivers.

If they were cabs, then facelift didn't start until about '90-91 iirc. I have a Dec '87 cab with full MTech 1 on it.

245/40
with 225/45 on the front 7.5's
For the 3.2l
or
235/40's all round on 7.5's
For the 3.0l
Hmmmmn. That should resolve any traction issues on a standard 328i. Thanks.

What's the correct (factory) tyre size for an E36 M3 8.5 inch rear? 235/40/17?

Call Ray, he has them, or did last week. Don't buy my one though!Hi..looking for E36 heater valve..cash or swap for E30, E21 or E36 parts

Did you see Fifth Gear run one into a small, late model Renault?Get a Lada
.. or a Volvo. seriously my 93 Volvo 940 wagon i used to have had side impact bars, airbags, crumple zones.. the works for that era. saw one at pickapart as well, would have been a hard side impact and then front into a wall or something, the doors were concaved as and the front gaurds and bumper all smashed up, but look inside the car and save from the broken glass you would never have known it was in a crash. the 850 preformed even better if i recall videos correctly.

No, dark green. Looked like oil dripping from somewhere onto the exhaust from the way it was swirling around, although it got worse when she put her foot down.Think ive seen the same car down Mt smart rd a few times. Smokes like its burning as much oil as petrol.
Burgundy colour?

An E39 520i smoking it's way along the NWestern this morning, BEZ something. Middle aged woman driving it, smoke getting heavier, if it's your mums, tell her to fix it!
-
I'll have a look tonight, let you know.
-
I have some, but no idea if they'll fit?

Umm, should I mention I was on the wrong side of the road entering the Chancery car park through the exit lane in a red Golf?A Bimmersport morning then - I didn't see you but I saw hybrid at the top of queen st (sounded hot).
-
Fair enough, there are some domestic arguments not worth having. Saw you turning into Bacons Lane this morning too.LOL - I wish. I merely provide opinions to my wife where child safety is the case. Oh the arguments we've had:
Her: "I don't like the way the car seat is so mobile - Isofix* would be better"
Me: "Its just because the seatbelt isn't locked as we're not crashing [then I turn and face her]. Look, I am mobile too."
Her:
* Her car has Isofix, I know mine doesn't.

I want a cheap as possible e30 steering wheel to experiment on. The standard one in any condition as long as it is still round and more or less complete. Auckland preferably to keep the cheapness to a maximum.
Cheers.

Yeah that's a good point thanks! - its not rocket science -----> its a bolt and spacer (and I have them somewhere from an E30) and a suitable tether point.
However, it will make my wife much happier to know I have the real deal so if anyone can help...

The repco ones are a universal fit going into the factory mounting points as per my earlier post above. Up to you.
-
That looks like the standard off the shelf one from Repco to be honest. Don't go to the Grey Lynn one, they're out of stock.Anyone have any of these - items 17-21 - for the rear shelf in an E36. It looks like E34, E46, E39, E32, etc all could possibly have them. Looking at the parts diagrams it looks like I need 7/16x35mm bolt not later 8mm one:
Price indication - extremely cheap please, lol.
I might as well take a pair - have matching ugly hooks in the parcel tray.
Run off the road...

I think the limit through there is 30 also. Having seen you driving today, maybe constantly changing lanes and accelerating all the time should give way to a bit of patience. It won't get you anywhere any faster in the city, but it will put you in more situations like have happened to you here. Regardless of who is at fault, it's a pain in the butt for you at the end of the day. My 2 cents.
