Good question! I had always planned on running 17 by 8's but as for the off set im really not sure. I was waiting till I got all the gurds on first to see how much space there is. Tnen the plan was to talk to a suspension expert and see what I can do to get the write geometry as theres an option to use an E46 lower arm to push it out a bit further. I have some one I can ask but just havnt got there yet. I tryed to work out the legal side of spaces and off set via the LVVTA website but I struggle to understand it all. Ill have a chat with a few people in the know and work it out from there

Progress: Cage is pretty much all made up just not welded. Am still working on the passenger seat bracket and after thats all finished everything will be welded in the new year. Rear boot, spoiler, front bumper and front guards are nearly all mounted up. The plans are to get this thing going for Targa Bambina in march... Its a push but ill give it my best shot

Hey all, ive got a pre facelift E46 330 and have just bought a second hand non OEM towbar. Didnt come with any wiring so was hoping some one has a better idea than me on how and where I should go from here. Ive seen wiring kits on some sites but not really to sure what I need. Any ideas would be awesome. Cheers

Dude, Ive just read all 27 pages in one sitting.... Bloody good work mate. I kind of like the look of the front as it is, with out brake duck and fog light holes etc. Good idea on the mould, to much work to be throwen away if you ding it.

Have bought myself an E46 330 but have a couple of problems... one being that it dosnt have a cup holder, Couldnt believe when the old e30 didnt have one but in a much newer car? This is ridiclus. May have been an option maybe? Also the fact that it has a tape player over a cd player is beyond me. Any one know if the OE cd player has an input for an auxillary? Cheers Steve

Does any one have or know of some place when I can get a wiring diagram for an M52 2.8ltr? Thanks

I dout that you can asjust it other than up/down and side to side. The light beam is set by the fluting in the lense You may be able to get new ones for it but id get mt money back for them. Sounds like the trader is a muppet

Help - your opinion needed! 85-525e blown gasket, or warped/cracke
Steve K-B replied to bigbertha's topic in Maintenance
Yeah it sounds like the gasket is blowen between the two cylinders as above. Take the head off and have a look at the gasket your self. Next thing to do is send the head away to check for warp and a crack test. Dosn't cost to much. Last time it was around $200 including the skim. Just find a local head shop around your area. Ive done this plenty of times and only once have I had the engine block warp but as yours has not been hot i would be confident that its fine. -
Have some photos: Engine in car with out intake Seat brackets Seat to close to tunel. Will have to chop into it, think I can get about 40mm by doing this. Not quite enough for my liking but its better than nothing. Gear box selector all mounted up in the correct location. Also floor panel mocked up.
