I'm pretty sure that points accumulate over a 18mth period. If you don't get any demerit points over this period I think you get them wiped clean and start again. I thinks......
-
Yeah I'm thinking I'm gonna go down the turbo route as far as forced induction goes for my m50ed e30. Just means I'll have to get a manifold fabbed up this equels $$$$$$$$$$$$ aswell

Hi welcome to the forums.... Haha great first post. I am interested in supercharging also
-
Haha Come on riley write a f**kin letter to them mate telling them that you asked the officer when his radar was last calibrated and say that he would tell you or didn't kow and stick to saying that you weren't going that fast as your speedo was reading less. Haha I write letters away all the time and get off sh*t like that. 111kmh is bullshit. What if you mates speedo was out a bit????? Trust me the calibration one always works as the pigs never keep their sh*t up to date with regards to calibration of their gear.

haha Yeah pussy. Get it up on some stands and slide under it haha count yourself lucky you aint doing on gravel aswell
-
Yeah man I've had the same trouble. They are obiviously trying to make back that 700 mill. f**kin bullshit aye

What do you mean by compromises??? I've read that the non-vanos is a much stronger unit over the vanos Basically there are a few key points. Non-vanos can be bored to 86mm Vanos only to 85mm. Non-vanos come with hotter cams. And dual valve springs. Vanos have mild sh*t, but valve timing with vanos. Vanos units can fail Vanos can put in M3 Cams + chip for great upgrade Hope that helps

Carl Mate I wouldn't do it these day's shet I like to think I'm a little bit more mature now, i was just saying........when your young and reckless other peoples saftey is the last thing on ya mind. Agreed! Also your always gonna get the odd cop that' really don't care either mate I bet it's alot of fun chasing someone at high speed when your allowed. sh*t the majority of cops are crooked as f**k and just please themselves what they do. I spent all last year doing pre entry test's and going out on scope (ride around with them for a certain number of hours) as I was dead serious about joining but after seeing what they really get up to I have decided against it. The public really has no f**kin idea what they get up to

Andrew good you delete the other topic that's the same as this but doesn't have the pictures. Don't know why it posted it twice and left the pic's out of the other one

Mate I bet you they didn't even abandon the pursuit. They just covering their arse's again cause the little f**ker died. Shet I don't want to gloat but in my younger days I have ran from the cops in my honda integra 1800cc vtec on two different occasions and got away and they looked for me all night and the next day. Fact of the matter was that my shitty honda was faster and handled better than those big lazy commys and I knew the roads and I counldn't drive for sh*t. In that drivers case I bet that toyota levin he was driving probably was getting away from the cop and it was just that the little f**ker crashed. Answering your question jazzbazz I think there should be no real speed limit in a pursuit and should all come down to circumstances and like you said whether and traffic conditions. sh*t I bet there's some cops out there that would keep chasing a ferrari until it ran out of gas or crashed even though they'd never catch it. Know what I mean... fukin cowboys some of them

Just completing the exhaust now. Then gotta go see if she'll get a warrent

Me and my older brothers put a holden 202 3.3ltr into a little 74 honda civic like the one in the picture. Solid mounted everything, custom and balanced driveshaft, custom locker cool.gif , modified cooling system , independent front brakes see the levers in the middle of the dash? and seperate throttle control that we can and hold at certain revs so we can hop out of the car or stick arms and legs out the window Me and the bro couldn't afford to take it down to skidfest but we entered it into the whangarei burnout compition. $20 bucks to enter and $500 prize money for first. Only 7 cars turned up ... Dirty old cortina with 351cc v8 .... escort with 289cc v8......Drift spec rb25det laurel....... Holden VL wagon 3.0 nissin..........Corrolla wagon......Hori as 1500cc mitsi mirage with five big maori boys trying to f**k it ......... Our little 74 honda civic.. Rain held off till just after lunch so got a few good skids in. Poped 4 tryes in two 3min burnouts. On last 3rd and final the pad was a bit wet and we kinda revved it a bit much and she got hot as f**k and 2 vavles stuck and it droped a cylinder for the last min of the skid. All and all it was a f**kin blast. Can do skids and not worry about getting busted by the pigs... Sorry about the poor quality pics they were takin by my girlfriend with my phone camera..

Had the same problem. But I just drilled holes in the bottom of anything that would retain water and kept an eye out for early rust indications
-
Sounds like you've got the facelift gearbox, Therefore you will have to change the position of the crank shaft sensor to the front. A friend of mine had the same issues
-
Ratshit to here that cuz. Must b f**kin gutted So you heading down there as a spectator still?? We just about to throw the civic on the trailer, I'll take some pics and post them up tonight

Haha Due to lack of funds and working saturday we gonna be going in the local burnout competion instead. On the pad down the end of port rd. $20 bucks to enter and $1000 prize money. Hahaha Easy money... Good luck with your holden bro. Those 3.8's go long and hard. I'll give you one tip......... Use heaps of the area available, lots of wheel speed for more smoke and once you pops the tyres f**kin keep the sh*t going on the rims and swing her out into the barriers . Get all crazy untill they tell you to get off. Crowd luvs it. That's what I pay money to see..........
-
Yep. As far as the braked and unbraked go andrew ,,, alot of it has to do with the percentage of weight of the toe vehicle and suspension but mainly weight. Get a m3 bro
