Nice progression up the Bimmer line Btw the lights look like reflectors - if they are, they won't be HID.

Yeah I've seen a pic of a ship's turbo bigger than that

Recommended Panelbeaters in Auckland?, Who do you use?

Hmm getting $12k for a 95 328i with 114kms is pretty good. Even if you take the wheels into account, it's still a fair price. About the fine, not likely as said above but I'd give it a shot anyway, since you have witnesses why not try. -
What's a gangsta doing with a Corolla? Hope you had insurance, can't leave our cars alone nowadays...

Steve, do you have any pictures of the damage? Buy-back is an option but may not be that great a price. And I thought write-off was only if the repair costs > 75% of insured value. In this case it's only 50%? I would either get it repaired by a very good shop, or just take the money and go. IMO the 328 is still depreciating so you can always keep the cash and take your time to shop for the car you want and be better off. It's just a matter of time. By keeping the cash you also open yourself to options ie: E46, etc. Also keep in mind your car having been in an accident will be worth less when it comes to selling it. Financially it probably makes more sense to write it off (but you haven't told us the KMs, and I haven't taken your wheels into account). At the end of the day though not all decisions are rational. We all have an emotional tie to our cars (or is it just me?) so you might want to keep it. -
Damnnnn. I wonder how much he wants for it?

An Alpina man eh Martyn? Looking good Great birthday present
-
Happy Birthday Martyn! Have a good one

Hahahha I think it's overpriced, it looks nice but it's still a 325 which save for the manual and M-sport kit would fetch $5k ish. PS: Not a factory Motorsport? No M door mouldings.

Just shoot them an email to change your order, should be sweet I think they have the black fern style too.
-
I don't think they come standard on E60s because I have seen ones without. You should ask the previous owner to be sure.
-
That's what I thought. Looks tidy but the KMs are too high for the price.

I always love how the Maseratis sound.

Welcome Adam, the car looks great! Don't know about your problem sorry but hope you find a solution.
-
Awesome!!! Thanks for sharing, never heard of this one before.

I know... the good old days. I should have bought them when they were $300+! That was the cheapest I'd ever seen them, were they ever cheaper?
-
And the offer is still open... I'm quite surprised no one's bought it yet?

Based on what I've read, thicker sway bars and x-brace will give you a bigger improvement in handling than a strut brace. So you might want to leave the strut brace till last.

+1 for Glenn... he's on to it and always happy to help us out.

Grant it isn't too far from me either, if you think a 200mm lens will come in handy let me know

Welcome, glad you got your dream car, I haven't seen those wheels on an X5 before!
-
Looks great, I like the way it's put together but the front lip must be a pain to take care of.
-
You just had to tell us that didn't you Jochen... Wish I could go!

I'm not surprised to hear that! To me, the E39 M5 IS the ultimate in terms of a combination of power, looks and luxury.
