  2. ill take some tomorrow and load them up
  3. i would have to agree here since i tuned this car with the mapecu it drives really well, im alos using the same setup on my turbo e34 2.5 and wanting to push alittle more than 400hp,and keep the bmw motor.
  4. if anyone is interested ive made my own intake using nissan gtr throttle bodies to go with the turbo setup
  5. thanks for that i have saved that on before, im going to also have a go at replacing the batteries which i guess are somewhere in the too,lol
  6. i was thinking that not cause the others werent woking cause they are but, when you turn the key on and off a whole bunch of times they come up. im glad my turbo 5 series is alot easier to deal with ,lol
  7. cheers Brent, but the unit i put in was working fine in the car it came out of,it also only had 60k on it and mine had done 160k. there must be something someone has come across like this before, i read about the SI batteries giving problems is this a possability? but for both units to need them? don't know just chucking ideas around
  8. OK dumb question time here and i know the e36 has problems with the dash but i thought i would describe my issue. first off it started with the dash gauges not working now and then and progressively got worse, but now and then come on. car drives good. checked all the usual stuff but Na not a thing that jumped out at you,got another gauge and put it in and ye ho we have gauges. well for a short time as they to have dropped away except for the speedo, now i did the test of holding in the trip meter then key on to test the gauges and they all work fine!! is there anything that runs this part that I'm over looking? any suggestions would be fantastic, cheers Steve
  9. at a guess one reason to stand it up would be to give more room on the exhaust side for the turbo setup and another maybe beacause it runs a different box, possaiblily an auto. dry sump is a good idea on high output motors and it appares he may use it for circut racing
  10. i spoke with na person up in sweden that pulled 800plus out of the m2025 which is similar to what im doing, and yes the room thing is great. when its done hopefully youll never tell from the sound or looks, sleepers are a good thing also cause of who i am
  11. its an 89 e34 520i, very plain which is what im after, why? cause i can and its different and the m20 is abit under rated from what ive seen and only limited to how far you can go. they are also cheap so afew blow ups arent to much of a worry but itll be fun as its only a weekend drive
  12. theres alot to list so ill keep it short, its a m20 2.5, stock cam, 6 throttle bodys on a custom manifold, custom headers, t51 turbo, custom pistons, mapecu on top of stock ecu, getrag 260, front mount cooler, my wastegate, etc etc sits on billet 18x10 rear, 18x8.5 front. hp? who knows but i would like too think its a little more than stock. why a 5 series? to be a sleeper and be different than the normal jap stuff to which i dont know why more people dont do it, cheers steve

  14. hell i cant hide anywhere these days progress is slow but im good at that, ive just put together a turbo design that should be good form the market as far as strong and will see you over 1200hp. ive done a six throtle body setup and just finished the flywheel to take the bigger m50 clutch and can now do the conversion. ill send the car up to jono to do the headers as im booked for over 6months so he can have the fun
