carsales.com.au most of the good ones are down south - sydney and Melbourne. Your 86 318 would probably go for 4k if you're lucky.. i sold my 91 318IS with 100k on the clock for 10G 2 years ago in Brisbane.

should be in inspection 2 the e34 also has them. but who hell sents their e36 cars in to proper dealers or bmw workshops to get insp 2 properly done anyway. they will cringe at how much the inspections cost - they just want the glamour of driving one..

we've been planning on heading back as well and was planning on shipping back my car, i didn't think it was going to cost that much. I know there is duties of 10% and gst 10% good luck with the sale.

I think i've run out of gas - i haven't done the regassing since i've purchased it. Would like to know where you guys take your cars to and roughly what do they cost? Preferbly somewhere around greenlane/onehunga area if its at all possible. cheers

1k for replica mirrors - what are you smoking? they look like fibreglass - the real ones are PU and are a greyish colour.

Have all the fluids change Check replace the cooling system Brakes Suspension - cut the springs and you're a fool ;p

oil levels in the 3.0 can drop overtime, esp if you service it at ever 25k intervals. pull the stick out and have a quick look.

i do it 6months or 10k, whichever comes first - for warranty compliance too!
