  1. if you have to ask - it's not depending how you define M. many people have cars with M bits on them (which have their own value) such as LSD, body kits, sport seats etc (I would not clarify them as an M however) the 323i with the dogleg and LSD seems to have been the predecessor to the 325i Sports - it prob wont have kit, does it have sport seats?

hopefully not..i really hope these cars are getting off the road. nothing beats remembering how it is to be young and stupid and think you can get away with everything everyone else gets nabbed for
  7. Congrats to the cops, good to see they are doing their job and keeping unsafe cars off the road.

    M42 into 2002

nope it wouldnt..any turbo cars need to use the factory turbo engine. just been seeing a few s14 2002...i do like em. too much hassle for me TBH...cars are a while away anyhow, I was more curious about fitment/custom work etc
  9. call Gavin at H-Velocity, he can sort your chipping and might have some ideas regarding NOS

    M42 into 2002

I am curious, has anyone got any links to anyone who has done this? If the s14 can fit I imagine the M42 can, curious to see how much custom work is required? and what sort of engineering is needed to make them handle power, can any e30 stuff be used? I have never worked on an 02 before
  12. i believe BMW is looking at introducing it as an option else you can get a quaife from Birds here in the UK
  13. e28 booster works...do you have ABS? I think they need to match...i had one in my old Motorsport and it was ok...firmed up the pedal and slightly less travel, less power though (i cycle, so not a problem)
  14. great to see you back kerry..will be interested to see how your going! Gavin has an excellent quality of work, definately worth a visit north of the bombays once the the engine is done! would probably see some good power gains as well which is always nice. Corvette sounds awesome....been looking at crate Engines and you can get over 400hp for £3k...its crazy! My leg is missing your dog!
  15. that thing is amazing..Ryan you are truly priveliged to have that in your family. I love these planes...even more when you think about their Historic significance (along with the Hawkers etc)

i am fairly sure you mean emptying of the cheque book don't ya doug?
  17. Along with Grant, am really impressed with the Suby guys....better than some guys on here (grow up kids) very different cars, both quick enough to have fun in, 4wd turbo can be a lot of fun. they are both fast cars, so really great all round that he is considering either! agree with many of the comments about BMW having so many chromy, bouncy wankers driving around...sucks all round. you really cant go wrong with either, just ignore the comments about "bmws being expensive to service" the m3s arent cheap but if you can do most work yourself you can save a fortune. parts really arent astronomical compared to brand new jappa parts...2nd hand maybe a little different. m3 shares body panels with normal 3 series so cheap anyway anyway i am waffling..its sunday morning over here! looking forward to seeing more thoughts and opinions. keep it intelligent please folks, he is another car enthusiast, cant go wrong!
  18. looks good...very JDM! what made you use that setup vs a traditional vertical mount?
  19. for once listen to someone who knows what they are talking about instead of your mates
  20. nothing seems too hard to fix yourself, very thorough report, am impressed
  21. most M52s are in NZ are alloy..its about 30kg lighter as all the ancillaries are much lighter great swap, expensive and not THAT powerful, but still one of the best 6cyl swaps I know of
