the e30 is great for modding if you want to do anything to do...may i ask why though? the e36 is quicker than all stock e30s, decent $$ needs to be spent on a 325 to make it quicker! if you just want something to play with, an e30 is your best bet, easy to work on, most parts are cheap. keep in mind its a 20 year old car though so many maintenance items may need replacing if it has not been looked after

nope, you dont there are a variety of bushes that need to be changed to get a decent shift...factory ones arent really that great.

that mirror looks really nice..mind me asking how you make them? do you vacuum bag from a mould? have done a little bit of glass/carbon work with boat building, but that is another league entirely

that looks really nice, congrats on the buy and entering the e30 world i would hope you would keep the current wheels..15" weaves are a legendary e30 wheel, best ride and handling in an e30 IMO...much lighter than most bigger wheels a 2.5 or a cheap 2.7 using the current head would make that a beaut

the 0.5 mm refers the the bore size....should not affect compression skimming the block will most likely have raised the compression...i am not sure how to tell if it would be too much however. are the pistons sticking out 1mm?
